Two problems related to speed control cable have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states the accelerator pedal would lock up intermittently(pedal resist), dealer was notified. Nlm.
Was pushing on accelerator pedal and vehicle fail to accelerate forward. Pedal was stuck and then suddenly would take off. Pedal throttle cable had released. Took to dealership, and mechanic repaired throttle body.
