All fuel injectors in "bank 1" became faulty and need replacing immediately with little to no warning of issues. Check engine light came on after multiple injectors became faulty. Check engine light came on while traveling on a straight road after 2 minutes of highway travel going 70 mph.
My 2017 siverado with less than 50,000 miles is at the dealership, due to a defective fuel injector on the #7 cylinder. I am being told it is not under warranty, and that I will have to bare the cost of the repair. I do not feel that on a two year old vehicle, that the fuel injector should fail, nor should I bare the cost of replacement. I am not asking for a resolution, I just want other to be aware of the defect.
The engine is unable to receive consistent fuel when you start the vehicle. It requires pushing down on the gas pedal multiple times and restarts to get the engine going. Then, while driving the engine loses fuel and causes the vehicle to turn off and essentially die. This has put me in 2 near wreck incidents already despite the gm dealerships saying there is no issue.
Vehicle hesitation and surges in acceleration. This condition is a safety issue as it hesitates pulling into traffic, surges in acceleration have caused loss of tire traction on ice covered roadways nearly resulting in a collision. Dealers have acknowledged an issue but advise they are still waiting on a fix from gm.
Engine hesitation, or misfiring. Jerking, or transmission shuttering when engine is at low rpm and on incline. (I. E. When traveling about 45mph and start up a hill, the rpm's are about 1300, and the transmission doesn't gear down, so it starts shuttering until you give it more acceleration than usual. ) after dealing with this issue for nearly 8 months and 15k miles, I believe this safety issue should be recalled. Dealer originally acknowledge the problem but was unsure of the cause. After 5 repair attempts the dealer say they can't duplicate and the vehicle performs as designed.

Significant corrosion of the fuel (gasoline) lines causing leak and possible safety hazard (fire). Several forums report brake and fuel line premature failure due to corrosion. Gm not addressing this known problem.

Driving at approx 35-40 mph approaching a hairpin turn tried to break and vehicle did not slow down slid through the corner into a rock, put the vehicle is reverse and pressed accelerator the vehicle rpm increased on own tried to break the rpm did not diminish(foot off accelerator) before I had time to shut the truck off I hit a tree behind me. It appears something stuck in accelerator (mechanical) or the computer system( electronics) failed. The vehicle has not yet been tested.

As I was topping the curve of an entrance ramp, I felt the rear of the truck lose traction on the wet asphalt and the tail started to move. I let off the gas pedal to gain control, and the engine continued to propel the truck as if the gas pedal was stuck. This caused the rear of the truck to continue around and slammed the front of the truck into a guard rail and finally came to a stop with truck parallel to guard rail and facing in the opposite direction of traffic. I was holding the brakes as soon as I realized the truck was out of control. If not for the guard rail, my family and I would have been propelled over a steep embankment with fatal results. This is the first time I've had this occur on this vehicle since I purchased it in 2001. This is a major safety issue.

Steel brake, fuel and transmission lines are extremely rusty and failure appears to be imminent, especially on brake lines. This should be a safety recall.

I was entering my driveway and began to brake going downhill, the brake pedal sudden "went to the floor" (brake line had ruptured due to corrosion). After taking truck to mechanic, I learned all my brake lines were serverely corroded and had to be replaced - fuel lines as well. Repairs totaled $2185. I owned several other make pickups, driven under the same conditions and have never experienced any problem with either brake or fuel lines.
The brake lines and fuel lines rusty to the point that they are leaking need to be replaced. The blend motor for hvac isn't working right.
Once the vehicle is in park it is sitting up and after putting the vehicle in reverse and starting to drive the vehicle lowers to the ground. The vehicle pulls when driving and causes an additional pull on the engine and fuel system.
Driving down i25 in colorado truck simply quit running was able to restart after pulling over to side of hwy. Has happened multiple times since, often twice a day, one or two time going to work and the same going home. Very often the truck restarts right away, but sometimes it has to set for several minutes before it will restart. The engine quitting problem has happened at various speeds from hwy speeds to slow city driving. It has also happened at times when leaving a stop light or stop sign.

On acceleration from a stop, the rpm's race while shifting. Vehicle acts as if the transmission is slipping from 1-2. Early in the life of the vehicle I thought this was only something that happened the first time shifting after pulling out of the garage however, as the truck gets more miles on it, the problem happens more often and when taking off from stops when hot. Vehicle was brought to dealer to diagnose complaint and was told there was a bulletin to address this problem but since the tech couldn't verify it, they didn't do anything. Dealer said I have a good powertrain warranty so if something breaks later I should be covered. Not only is this unprofessional and poor customer service, they literally did nothing to attempt to diagnose or confirm the problem. There seems to be numerous complaints on this site related to rpm racing complaints.
I own a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While traveling t a a low rate of speed/under 40 mph, there is a sudden loss of power. The vehicle hesitates numerous times and stalls. The vehicle almost shuts off but recovers just before shutting off and the start of losing power the vehicle jumps and stops. Called dealer service department and was told there are no recalls for my vehicle. This problem started almost frome week one after purchase until this date of reporting.
Brake lines rusted completely through and blew out while braking and lost all pressure. Fuel lines are severely rusted.
A brake line burst due to rust and corrosion, almost resulting in a rear end crash. I had to take the truck into the berm to avoid the crash. After inspection all the brake lines were corroded and rusty and had to be replaced. Also found that the fuel lines were also rusted, corroded and leaking. They also had to be replaced.
