Sreeing wheel jerks in right turns. Feels like steering went out ,it is intermittent but a every day occurrence.
I started hearing a sqeaking noise coming from the left front of truck when I turned, there was also a sqeaking noise from my clutch, my reverse lights stayed on and my brake lights worked only half the time and my brake fluid leaked. I brought the truck in the get it fix by champion Chevrolet on mon July 31 @ 8:30 on thrusday I picked it up they had only put 2 miles on the truck I noticed the sound was worse in the steering only after driving 9 miles. I fear for my health and safety driving this trruck as now it sways back and forth and the sound is worse then it was when I droped the truck off on Monday. What can I do ? I have not paid a payment yet but is due in 3 days. Please help.
There is a sound coming from the steering column. It sounds as if something is loose in column. This occurs randomly, and more frequently during colder weather.
While driving 70 mph power steering shaft broke. Driver was able to pull to the side of the road safely. Truck was towed to the dealership. Parts were ordered to correct the problem.
When turning steering whell left or right it makes a squeaking noise. Consumer feels that steering may lock up.

Dealer has worked to get the truck repaired by replacing front tires twice, aligning the front end. They have provided great service. The truck was delivered in disrepair from the factory.
Bearing in steering column kept breaking. Dealer found problem because mechanic experienced the same. In a matter of months, it came loose again & dealer ordered new bearing. Dealer really could not seem to remedy problem. Consumer called manufacturer. Service manager stated vehicle was fixed & paper work showed no proof.
Steering wheel makes a loud popping and cracking noise whenever has been driven. Also, there is movement in streering wheel. Dealer has replaced spring and column. Please provide further details.
Steering wheel begins shaking at 60mph. Shaking increases with speed.
While driving and making a turn, the steering wheel locked up at the turn and consumer had to wiggle it to come out of turn. After he straightened out the steering became free, turning. Consumer states since the day the vehicle was bought, the wheel would catch when the tilt was used, the dealer made repairs, however it still would not work correctly, the dealership told the consumer not to use the wheel to pull themselves into the vehicle, once the wheel was replaced there were lots of shaved broken metal parts inside the column where the wheel mounts, consumer traded vehicle in.
Steering wheel failed because the shaft in steering clolumn was not bolted to the shaft going to power steering pump. Yh.
While consumer was driving and attempting to make a right turn, steering wheel turned on its on.
When driver turns the steering wheel, there is a grinding noise. The dealership indicated that there is an eternal leak in the gear box, and it needs to be replaced. Please provide more details. Ts.
