Fuel Injection Problems of Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the traction control and another unknown warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. Despite the failure, the contact was able to drive the vehicle to the residence. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where a diagnostic test was performed. The dealer replaced the fuel injectors, lifters, and the catalytic converter. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and extended the warranty on the vehicle and offered the contact reward points. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 110,000.

The contacts owns a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 hd. While driving 5 mph, the vehicle hesitated when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle then surged forward. The dealer stated that the throttle body was the cause of failure. The dealer cleaned the throttle body, however, approximately three days later, the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the throttle body was defective and should be replaced. As of July 27, 2007, the vehicle has not been repaired. The current mileage was 78,000 and failure mileage was 68,302.

- the contact said that the cap and rotor that goes to the spark plug had been replaced, because of a recall. The contact said that the parts went bad a year later. He took the truck back to the dealer (pearson Buick GMC) and they replace the parts again, but they charged him $100 for his warranty use. The contact said that since the parts are still under recall why did they charge him for this warranty use? the contact has repair orders for all the work.
