Ball joints, tie rods and alignment check out ok. Problem can be temporarily (for several days) resolved by dealer when front axle assembly is lubed during general service. Had front axle seals replaced at 80k, noisy vibration was temporarily suppressed, returned a week later.

Purchased vehicle in 04 with less than 20,000 miles. Within a few weeks, heard popping noise from front end and could feel a vibration when driving. Tokk vehicle in for repairs, added lubricant to front end and noise/vibration stopped for a few months. Repeated the lubricant proces two more times. Now replacing tie rods.
