The brake lights on the vehicle failed because a wire in the system burned out. There is no current recall for this harness but the replacement part is of heavier gauge wire. The circuit is fused but the fuse was stronger than the circuit it is supposed to protect. I think that in some cases this could be a fire hazard and in any case the loss of brake lights is certainly dangerous.

Wires inside the fuel tank became so hot that they melted the installation on the wires going to the fuel pump assembly. While driving vehicle cut off twice. Once at 55 mph, and once at about 25 mph. The dealers have changed the fuel pump assembly under warranty.
