My daughter was driving locally yesterday 7/1/18 and making a right hand turn at a slow speed. She lost control and collided with another vehicle in oncoming traffic. She was injured. The cars brake lights had just gone out and the blower is going on and off. I assume this is an electrical problem for which my VIN is not displaying a recall. There is now damage to the wheel and rear drivers side fender, clearly displaying that the vehicle spun out of control, based on the 2 vehicle impact points.
Right brake light continues to go out and the connector is burned and corroded. Also, I am continuously replacing my headlights and brake lights. Once replacing, the light works for about 3-4 weeks. It appears there is a problem with the brake light connector circuit board. Please help!.

I recently started having problems, one being my brake lights don't always work. I took it to a local chevy dealer and was told it all had to do with an electrical problem as is impossible to fix. Shouldn't my vehicle be recalled? I'm a safe driver and it's a bit upsetting knowing that I don't know if and when my break lights are working. Especially when I have small children with me. We recently moved, as my husband was following me, he was the one that noticed my brake lights weren't working.

The summer of 2013 I had it brought to my attention that my driver side brake light would fail to light up as the brake was applied. I tried changing the bulb but that proved to not be the problem as it still failed to light up. The following summer the same thing happened with the passenger side brake light. I am unsure if it is an electrical problem or a sensor that has gone bad. I can only assume that it is an electrical problem due to the fact that the back windsheild wiper stopped working due to electrical issues.

Car is a 2003 chev Trailblazer the igintion key is still stuck in the car. There where no warning lights that anything was wrong with the car. Brakes failed after 7 months of having the car , I had to go to an outside company to fix car. Also when hitting brake lights it comes on as hazzard lights. Car started to shake when turning on a/c took to dealership I was told to contact someone else that can fix the car. Also the only way for me to start the car and turn the car off is by unhucking the battery due to key being stuck in the igintion I went to dealership to get car fixed or replace and dearlship was banked rupt. Please help I really feel that I got a bad car or a recall car.
The fiberglass cowling on top of the rear hatch fell off while driving, dangling only by the brake light cable. I had to cut the wire and remove the piece of body and light. Went to dealer asking about repair, they said it was caused by "use of the tailgate during winter conditions of snow and ice. " they said "we see it all the time. " I asked, since it occurs with high frequency, if it is covered by warranty, bulletin or recall and they said "no, gm considers this an owner/operator error. " in other words, on this vehicle, a 4x4, the tailgate cannot nor should not be used, in the midwest, during periods of snow or ice? alas, I am driving without the mandatory center brake light. Please remedy this situation with proper replacement. Sadly, I see this condition on the same make and model more often than not.

Rear brake lights keep going and having to change them bi weekly.
I was driving home from work in my 2006 Trailblazer ext. After stopping at the stop sign in front of my home, I pressed the center button on the overhead console to open the garage door and proceeded to turn right as to position the vehicle to allow for backing-up onto my driveway and into the right parking half of my garage. But as I shifted the Trailblazer into reverse, I began to press the accelerator pedal, but the vehicle would not move. I could feel that the transmission was not slipping, the engine was under load, and it was as if I was pressing the brake at the same time I was pressing the accelerator pedal. But, I only use my right foot, and my left foot was in front of, and against, the drivers seat, far away from both pedals. I looked over to the parking brake, but it was completely down. Using the parking brake lever, I made certain that is was not engaged. The brake light in the instrument panel was not on at any time, nor was there a warning from the driver information center (dic), nor was there any other warning or indicator showing that something was wrong. I still could not get the car to move. I placed the transmission into drive, and I could feel the transmission shift, but again, I could not get the vehicle to move. And, there was a load on the engine as if I was pressing the brake pedal at the same time as I was pressing the accelerator pedal, but the brake was not being pressed, and my left foot was far away from the pedals. Finally, after about a minute, I felt that the car was ’let go’, and I was finally able to move the car normally onto my driveway and into my garage, but I was shaking a bit and am very concerned that this is going to happen again.
2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. 5. 3 liter v8 engine. Tapped brakes lightly and took foot off brake pedal. Brakes continued to activate on their own and continued braking harder and harder until vehicle came to a stop on it's own with the brakes locked up. Had to shut off vehicle and restart to release brakes. Called ryan Chevrolet in buffalo, mn and miller Chevrolet in rogers, mn. They said they have not heard of any problems with the brakes doing this. Could have been bad if on the highway or freeway since the brakes would have completely locked up. Only happened once. . . And that's enough!.
The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that she is the second owner of this vehicle. In 2006, the vehicle was repaired according to a recall for the brake light sensor. While driving various speeds, both of the brake lights failed. She took her vehicle to the dealer in July of 2007 and was informed that the brake light sensor board was fried. Since the repair was previously performed in 2006, the dealer will not repair it again. The contact would be responsible for the repair. The failure mileage was 79,000.
I leased a 2007 chevy Trailblazer on may 31st 2007 at wally edgar dealership. When the weather started turning below 50degrees the brakes started to fail. We took it into wally edgar dealership in January 2008. All they did was bleed the brakes. Within 2 months the brakes were back to failing. I took it in to lunghumer dealership in April 2008, this time they replaced the master cylinder. That worked for awhile. . Well within a month I was back at wally edgar dropping it off because the brake pedal had exceeded the last two times it was within 1/2 inch of the floor. This time they bleed the brakes and claimed the problem was an air bubble in a caliper. Well everything was going okay until the first real cold of the year. My brakes were down to the floor literally. I was unsure if they were going to stop me. This time they did their job at wally edgar and replaced a modular sensor. The brakes seemed to be working good. That was January 14, 2009. Within a week the 4wd service light came on. The transfercase switch was replaced. January 22, 2009. Then on January 30th my service brake light and stabilitrak light came on. Since they couldn't figure out what was wrong they decided to replace the calipers, master cylinder, and electric brake module. And I am suppose to feel safe in this heap of junk.
