Car Stall problems of the 2015 Chrysler 200 - part 2

Since Dec 16, 2016 my car has stalled multiple times , I have filed multiple bbb complaints as well as having it inspected , towed , new key fobs purchased and my car literally will stop on the interstate putting me and my family in danger. It, has broken down 15 times since I purchased this vehicle and I'm sick and tired of this. I want this settled.

It seems to happen more in the morning when my car has been idle for a few hour. On sharp turns or abrupt braking in the city my Chrysler 200 2015 will stall. First, the electrical warning light will go off along with a bell warning sound and then the car will stall. I will then have to coast to the side of the road (with no power), stop the car, engage the dial to park and press the ignition button with the brake pedal down again. When I do this, the starter will struggle to start, but after 8 second the engine will turnover. The problem seems to be occurring more now. The problem started happening at 58,000 miles and now I am at 70,000 miles.

The 2015 Chrysler 200c have several stalling issues while the vehicle is in motion. I brought the vehicle in for service last week and no fault was found. The problem is ongoing and I would like for the NHTSA to conduct a full investigation.

This car has stalled 5 times coming down a hill while turning in to traffic. Once, I had my child with me. I was heading in to traffic and the car died, leaving me stranded with cars coming!!! this is extremely dangerous because I can't move out of the way! it takes anywhere from 10 seconds to over a min to get it to start again.

Engine light flashes and then remains on. Car shifts hard and idles hard. Delay in shifting. Acts as if it will stall out.

Either myself or my wife have been driving our 200 and while driving it stalls outs. It has happened a number of times for just over a month now. Yesterday I was driving it and it made a bell sound and then I saw something flash about oil but it went off the screen pretty quick. I was slowing around a corner. This morning my wife was driving the 200 and stated that the vehicle stalled twice as she was coming up to stop signs.

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that once stopped at a stop light the vehicle would stall and lose all power. The contact would have to press the brake pedal for the vehicle to power back up and accelerate forward. The contact took the vehicle to the dealership (don franklin campbellsville located at 200 n bypass rd, campbellsville, ky, 42718 phone number: 877-702-2230) who diagnosed that battery voltage circuit failed, the control module a failed, and the left front speed sensor failed. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated the vehicle began to exhibit the same issue, however, now the contact had to jumpstart the vehicle in order to drive the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who stated that the diagnostic code: tipm module u0001 showed. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000. Gl.

While driving the vehicle stalls and shuts off, no lights on dash. 5 days later same stall issue now engine light and electrical light are coming on too.

Vehicle is trying to stall out while driving and in sitting position. Always happens right after I re-fuel. It starts jerking, sometimes it is a slight jerk but today it jerked very hard that it really scared me. Also when starting the vehicle it struggles to start up. It will continue to not drive right for a little bit of time and then it goes back to driving fine until I re-fuel again. It started about a month ago and has never stopped since then. I have looked up recalls for this issue and it shows I don't have one. This really needs to be checked out and become a recall.

Vehcile has several error lights that come and go. I cannot get Chrysler dealers in brevard, florida to do warranty work. Everyone is in danger as the car is no longer safe. I have begged for tow ins, rentals and warranty diagnoses. I have begged for Chrysler to send a trained rep from out of town to investigate. This has gone on for years, now the below dealerships owns both the dealers in my region and refuse to do work to diagnoe per warranty at either. I had a free oil change package from Chrysler from a previous service related complaint. The dealer scheduled an appointment, I gave them all my info. I also ordered an expensive part to have installed, which is nonreturnable. I paid for and picked up part. Checked my car in. Then ross and craig, also ed o'donnell I was told were all texted by ross and upon checking in vehicle was told "sorry we will not service your vehicle or install your part. This has been an ongoing issue and I was also told by ed o'donnell on a previous complaint that I was welcomed to return. Did I mention the package expired shortly there after. Also shortly there after leaving the work they did previously, the symptoms now re present themselves. Ironically. Also, it was admitted by phone that they had backmoffice discussions with another dealer in the area gator Chrysler. I am now stuck with a part they will not install or refund. They will not change my oil or rotate tires. They will not fessmup to the vandalism of my vehicle that occurred on their lot in 2018. They have destroyed my car and now all kinds of engine lights come on to discredit me. While in motion the vehicle will shut down - steering wheel locks, brakes dont brake, no sensor lights. Vehicle starts after 30+ mins but no mechanic can locate the problem due to no sensor lights. This is a major health issue when the vehicle stalls in high traffic areas and can't be moved. At this time, it has happened on 3 occassions within a two week span.

I bought a car at an auction that has two outstanding recalls. I went to two different dealerships and both wanted me to pay out of pocket. After complaining to report them one dealer pretended to do the repair but the problem still exists. Obviously the recalls were never done and since they put on report they were done they will not help me. The car will lose power while I am driving causing me to stall. . All I want is my car to be fixed properly so I do not have to worry about crashing and injuring myself or god forbid die.

The car has stalled many times and then will not start right away but will start after a few tries. This has happened on city streets while at a stop and also in the driveway while moving.

Vehicle abruptly stalls and will not shift while driving. The speed of the vehicle will increase while on cruise control.

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving 15 mph, the steering wheel became difficult to turn to the right and the vehicle began to stall. Also, a warning message appeared indicating to park the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer and dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 70,000.

The car stalls while driving, when coming to a stop or when sitting still, it does not seem to do it after the vehicle warms up, also when it stalls it is does not want to start right away. Sometimes taking several attempts to get it started. It started mid October and has been happening since.

Takata recall my car stalls and want to shut down at times when it comes to a stop, but at times it does shut down when it comes to a stop.

I have already had the wiring harness replaced, but now my car stalls while cruising or decelerating without warning. This has happened everyday for the past 3 days. Then the car won't start right away leaving me stuck in the middle of the road.

The steering wheel seized and the "service air bag" light and "check engine" light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure occured on more than one occasion. My car shifts to neutral while in motion stalls while in motion all on a highway.

The car stalls when pressing the gas. Once it finally catches it's a hard jerk in the car. Have taken to have inspected but service station says it's fine.

Car stalls unexpectedly on road while driving. There is a recall of over 77000 vehicles but Chrysler will not fix per recall.

My car suddenly stalls and unable to start the vehicle for 1 hour and all the lights on the dashboard flashes.

Takata recall. I got a letter couple months ago about a recall on the air bags saying that they are defected and the company who put them in are going bankrupt. Since I been driving the Chrysler(2017) its has been stalling when I drive. When I brought it I asked me man was there anything wrong he said no. There is still stalling when I drive as if its switching gears(kinda like a stick shift) it's scary because I have kids and places I take the car to is saying its its suppose to do that. I've drove many cars and never experienced the problem. When I'm on the highway an I'm on auto cruise it shifts from the # I have it on to a higher level then once again it's like it wants to stalls and kinda jerks. That's not normal at all because if I'm on auto cruise at 65 mph why wouldnt ot just stay there instead of just trying to switch gears? every day when I leave its jerks when I pull off as I'd it's a sticks shift. Happens literally all the time. I took it to different shops one says it's a recall but others say it's nothing wrong and I cant find anything on who I'm suppose to talk to and really get this looked at.

Stalls shifts, shifts hard won't go to park stays in neutral. Went for recall dealer said I just need the update. Car is still acting the same after recall. Feel very unsafe when car stalls on highway and busy streets.

Twice I've had my kids in the car and have had this car stall out on me in motion and it is definitely a safety issue.

Car cuts off while I was driving on the interstate also stalls while driving and won't pick up speed.

We traveled two hours away for an event. When we were leaving the park the car stalled. No steering, no brakes, and no dash lights. We almost side swiped a camper before the car finally stopped. Another time driving down a busy highway the cat just dies. Etc light comes on. We take the car ti the dealer and they tell us its because the oil was low. I dont understand how the oil being low is going to stall out the car, there was no indication of oil issues. No lights were on in the dash. This car is unsafe.
