The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that several attempts were made in order to power the vehicle off and release the key from the ignition switch. The contact waited up to twenty minutes before the key would release from the ignition switch until. On some occasions, the key would not release until the battery cable was disconnected. The battery was drained on several occasions. Contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 14v567000 (electrical system) and 15v313000 (air bags), however, the parts to do the repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 93,000.
