5 Battery problem of the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 10/26/2011

I first noticed my headlights flickering and my battery light came on so I took it to the Chrysler dealership and they claimed to have done many tests and found nothing wrong, I then continued using my Pacifica but only to have the problem not only continue but also to get worse my brake light and abs lights on my dash started to flicker on and off and then there was chime indicating that there was a problem and I also heard a loud popping noise coming through my stereo but the weird thing is my stereo was off. I since took my Pacifica to another Chrysler dealership and left it with them and again they claim that there is nothing wrong which again costed me more money for nothing. I again took my Pacifica and used it when the problem continued withall the same problems but this time my fuel gauge dropped to empty and my dte distance until empty dropped to zero and my truck shut off as I was merging onto the highway and I nearly got involved into an accident with several vehicles. I am not only concerned about this issue but also for my safety and others on the road. I have agin contacted the dealer and this time I provided a video of the lights and dash lights which included the noise coming through my stereo that I recorder with my iphone they again made an appointment with me to bring my Pacifica back in and they made it clear that I would have to pay for their time once agian until they can find the problem and at which time they said the warranty company would cover the costs. My concern is from what I have been reading in these complaint posts is that they will find nothing and I will walk away with empty pockets.

6 Battery problem of the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 09/15/2010

Intermittent brake and abs warning lights and the alarm chime. The lights will come on and off very quickly, sometimes too quick to notice. The alarms are always preceded by the flickering of any electrical equipment that may be on at the time. If the headlights are on, they will flicker as if going off. If the radio is on, the sound will go off until voltage is restored. Have taken the vehicle to the Chrysler dealer several times. They are unable to determine the cause. No codes are displayed for their computer. They replaced the battery but that did not help. The actual brakes seem to be unaffected. However, with the fluctuation of voltage and the dimming of headlights when this happens, it feels as if the car may turn off. Event happens any time - day or night. Sometimes the car can be driven and this does not occur. Appears to be totally unpredictable.

7 Battery problem of the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 10/27/2006

I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica and I have been experiencing starting/stalling problems with it. The problems started within 9 months of my purchase date. Each time the dealership wasn't able to re-create. I had the battery replaced but I am still having the problem. It is now at the dealership after being towed because it wouldn't start and of course they can't duplicate the problem. I have logged a complaint on the carspace. Com. I asked my service manager if he was aware of the starting/stalling problem with the Pacifica and he told me no. Please help me.

9 Battery problem of the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 07/04/2005

? battery leaking? I have red fluid dripping from under my front right side of the car (looking at it), under where the battery / battery caseing is. It was noticed, as we pulled out of the garage and found the red spots under the front where the car was parked. We popped the hood, the same looking red fluid is all over the battery, and looks to be arouund the casing of the battery as well. Not 100% sure, but is has ruined our holiday, as the car now sits until we can get this back to the dealership, yet again (5th time ) in 5 weeks to be repaired. I took photos of this to keep as a visual document as well, as we have had our car in the shop every week, at least 1 - 3 days since we got the car on 5/23/05.

11 Battery problem of the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 06/14/2004

I have talked to the dealership about the gas mileage that my vehicle is getting. It is supposed to get 17 in town and 24 highway. I am only getting 12. 8 in town and 13 on the highway. They tell me to wait until it gets to 5,000 miles and it will get better. Well, I'm at 4,660 and it is still bad!! definitely not the mileage posted on the dealership papers in the window of my car when I purchased it 5 months age. They wouldn't even write it up for the tech's to look at while it was there for battery problems. I'm taking it in again.
