1 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 10/09/2017

Horn does not work at steering wheel but will randomly blow when a door is opened. This is an ongoing occurrence since "when did this happen" as the problem has not been found.

2 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 01/25/2016

Car started having trouble starting. Took it to the dealership where they said it was the fuel filter. Come to find out it is a faulty tipm. Was able to get it to crank after numerous tries. Last time it caused a fire under the hood and now nothing. Before the windows would just roll down on their on, lights flash, horn blows, door opens.

3 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2015

Randomly closes the powered doors and doesn't stop when obstructed, several trips to the dealer and no issues found. Always when in park and with all 3 methods of opening the door, fod, manually and interior button. Warning lights keep coming off and on (check engine and tire pressure low) but service shop says no issue. Autostart doesn't work much of the time but service center says when check engine light is on it won't. I autostarted my car but it wouldn't let me press the brakes, push the start button, put it in drive to operate the vehicle then it died. I was able to start again but it immediately died again several times. I was tehn locked in and the lights and horn kept flashing, the locks would not unlock. It very frequently does not detect the key and will randomly beep that the key is not detected while driving and will not start at all with the key in hand.

4 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 11/02/2015

I had just parked the vehicle, came back approximately 20 minutes later and the vehicle was completely dead. No power anywhere. Power doors, windows, radio, horn, ignition, lights, chimes, steering. Nothing worked. Had to have vehicle towed. I then spent money on a new battery because my battery was shorted out by this electrical issue. I was then told it was the tipm and that this wasn't covered under my extended warranty. In doing research I learned that this is a known issue and that Chrysler has basically refused to do a recall on this. This is extremely unsafe as this could have happened while driving down the highway at 70 mph. This could have been fatal as when the power is lost, the engine shuts down causing it nearly impossible to steer, causing the flashers to be inoperable, causing the horn not to work, and because their is no power the airbags would not deploy in a crash.

5 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 04/15/2014

Horn will not honk pushing horn button, it will honk pushing panic on key. Dealer said bad wering at air bag 1000+ to repair replacing air bag as it is faulty.

6 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 01/08/2014

Vehicle started remotely in my attached, closed garage. Apparently the remote key system was activated by some other object in my pocket, possibly my cell phone. I heard the car horn blow briefly, and the car start because I was in a room adjoining the garage. I immediately went into the garage and shut the engine off. This is the second time I experienced an unintentional engine start. The first time I was in the garage. I feel the remote should require 2 simultaneous button pushes to eliminate this problem. I'm glad I wasn't changing an engine belt when the engine started!.

7 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 06/27/2012

Traveling south at speed of 55 to 60mph horn started blowing windshield wipers come on and windshield washers come on I try to shut washer and wipers off with switch that did not stop them from working next all the little warning lights were on I look at the rpm gauge and it said 0 the engine had stop running I coasted to where the shoulder was wide to get car off the highway I next tried to start engine it would not start next thing I am handicapped and drive car with hand controls in my motorize wheelchair as I cannot walk so next I undid the seatbelt and unlock my wheelchair and my caretaker had gotten out of car as I back wheelchair to get out of car I notice black smoke coming out from under the hood I ask caretaker to open back door to deploy ramp so I could get out of car the back doors would not open manual or with the key remote I turn around and fell out driver door to ground & five people carry me away from flaming car. I had issue with windshield wipers before took to Dodge dealer they said I had computer glitch. I do believe there was issues with this car when I purchase it new with only 10 miles on it.
