1 Ignition Switch problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2018

Fuel pump remains running after ignition switch is turned off. This situation has been recalled in other Chrysler models and should be applied to the Town & Country. Any time you cannot shut the fuel pump off you have a very hazardous condition. This incident first took place 10/01/2018 and has continued to do so ever since. This condition applies to the tipm, Chrysler dealer wants $ 1200. 00 to fix.

2 Ignition Switch problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2014

The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 14v234000 (electrical system) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The dealer stated that the parts were available for the repair. The dealer stated that if the ignition switch glowed green, the parts were not available. The contact made several attempts to have the vehicle repaired since August of 2014. The manufacturer was not made aware of the delay. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact had not experienced a failure.
