Van has had a few times where it will not start, you can turn the key all the way to the on position, all the lights/radio and air will come on but the engine fails to start, does not make a noise. After a few tries it will start. Recently the key got stuck in the on position to start and the engine tried starting 4 times while stuck in that position before it finally started and almost quit. Did not dare to turn vehicle off due to the possibility it would not start. Research states the tipm is the cause of this along with multiple electrical issues. This should be recalled.

My van stopped at a stoplight and would not restart. It was not making any noise at this time, when it cooled down it restarted and the engine was knocking. The car then sputtered and stalled several times. No lights came on except the traction control light. My van has 132,000 miles and has gotten oil changes on time.

I bought a 2014 Chrysler town and country in August 2014. I took the van in for a squealing noise 20 days after I bought the vehicle sat there for an hour at the dealership and then they come to tell me they could not hear the noise. The van stop making the noise in October 2014 however it almost cost me and children our lives. We were driving down a very busy highway where we live and the engine stalled and just quit lost all power I was able to get out of the road thank goodness or we would have been smashed because it was 8:00 a. M. Work traffic. I then called the dealership right away and made an appointment to bring the van in to have it seen about. I took the van in and was called a few days later and they told me they could not duplicate the issue very frustrating. My van has stalled several more times after that and has been at the dealership for 3 weeks now and they still say they cannot find the issue. Also, I was in the parking lot of a store and turned into a parking place and the engine just shut off it took several minutes for it to start back up. I have contacted Chrysler on this matter and they go with what the service department says and if they cannot duplicate the issue they tell me to come get it. I am now going to turn this over to the lemon law department because I do not feel safe in this vehicle that was purchased new and only has 7,000 miles on it. Not to mention this is the second brand new vehicle I have purchased from this place and the first one the transmission went out at 6,000 miles. I need some help someone please advise me on what I need to do. Also, I have wrote a letter to Chrysler stating the problems I am having and certified mailed it and the only response I got was I will send to someone else.

Engine noise. Compared to our old van, the sounds from the new van engine are louder. I noticed when we bought the 2011 van in January, that it does not have a sound insulated hood. Today when driving a 2010 loaner t&c - from the lcoal dealer when our transmission was being serviced - the 2010 has a piece of insulation on the underside of the hood. The 2011 model does not have this insulation and is noisier. Is this a cost cutting effort? nothing like trying to please customers to help future sales.
I was preparing to leave the parking lot of a local hardware store. I backed out far enough to be able to turn the steering
to the left and move into the driving lane. I stopped and put my vehicle in the drive gear and I put my foot lightly on the accelerator pedal. I heard a loud screaming sound and my
vehicle lurched forward. I put my foot on the brake but my
vehicle would not stop. I hit the car parked on my immediate left and my foot was knocked off the brake pedal by the impact. My
vehicles motor was still racing and I ran into the second
vehicle parked next to the first on my left. I got my foot back on
the brake just before my vehicle hit the third vehicle two
parking spaces from the second vehicle. At that time my vehicle started to idle. I called Chrysler motors and told them what
happened. I received a letter later stating that they inspected
and found no problem with the acceleration. My insurance company allstate was supposed to inspect my vehicle but
never did and gave me no reason for not inspecting it. I am very upset that my insurance has gone up by $579 a
year. I know that I did not cause the accident.
