36 Engine Oil Leaking problem of the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country

Failure Date: 02/21/2014

My 2008 town and country Chrysler which had 74,000 miles locked up on me while driving. It was determined that their was no oil in the vehicle. I have had my oil changed every 3000 miles and I didnt have any signs of an oil leak at all. There is no sign of an oil leak in my driveway. Where did the oil go? the check engine light on the dash never came on nor the oil light came on. I have been told that my engine is gone and will have to be replaced. I want some type of explaination as to why and how this could happen from Chrysler. I have never had anything like this happen and the sad thing is I'm still paying for this vehicle. I have had numerous issues with the vehicle before. You couldn't have never convinced me that chrsyler had defective/lemon vehicle till now. I would appreciate some kind of reimbursement and a recall for current and future town and country owners.

There was a recall for Chrysler power steering hoses and mine was fixed two years ago & they refuse to fix it again saying wear & tear. Also, they put out a notice (but not to owners) that the oil plate on these vehicles are leaking & there is no recall for that problem which I've already consulted 50 people with the same van and same problem.

43 Engine Oil Leaking problem of the 2002 Chrysler Town & Country

Failure Date: 04/30/2002

Multiple oil leaks during a 7 month period from 4/02-1/03 for a total of 6 reported times returned to dealership. Dealer has installed several new parts including oil filter adapter o-ring, oil filter adapter, adapter seal, oil cooler (twice), hose to oil cooler/adapter. Since 6 reported leaks and last repair on 1/15/03, have noticed 1 or 2 drops of oil on garage floor, but I am not certain it is fixed for good. Currently we are in arbitration through the ncds because of this and other repairs repeatedly performed.
