The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country. The contact stated while driving at approximately 35 mph he noticed that the "check engine" warning was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the oil pressure sensor and the oil housing needed to be replaced. The contact was advised by the mechanic that the oil sensor failure was a common failure for his year, make and model. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.
