Insured stated that the vehicle caught on fire while parked. Claim number 40-2277-070.
Vehicle was parked in the back of library. Ten to fifteen minutes later, someone came into the libary and stated that vehicle was on fire . Fire department was called and responded. Earlier, consumer took the vehicle to the dealership for as gasoline leak on the Feb 13-200o. Coinsumer picked the vehicle up on 18-Feb-2000, and the engine compartment was burning.

Possible manufacturing defect in the boss that holds the rocker arm shaft on the cylinder head in the vehicle, broken and causing severe engine damage, required replacement.
I feel strongly this is a manufacturer's defect. Poor quality in their castings. No safety defect listed in summary.
Vehicle was parked and a fire started in the engine compartment unexpectedly and without prior warning. Please provide further information.
Subject vehicle involved in side impact accident. Subject vehicle pulled away from a stop sign and was broad sided by oncoming full-size van. Subject vehicle immediately burst into flames (per witness statements). Driver and passenger were both unconscious. Bystanders were unable to get either out of burning vehicle due to doors being locked (auto door locking mechanism) and were unable to break windows out before vehicle was fully engulfed.
While driving consumer's van cuts off completely in traffic.
Consumer been experiencing an ongoing problem with engine turning off while driving. This condition have been occurring since the firt 9500 miles of wear. Vehicle been in/out of dealer shop four times, and dealer cannot resolve the problem. Wants consumer to pick up the vehicle.
Engine stopped at 40 mph with no warning and would not restart. Lost engine assisted steering and brakes.
Consumer put vehicle in drive and vehicle experienced surged, crashing into a church, consumers foot was not on the accelerator at any time, the air bags failed to deploy. Consumer recently experienced a bad fuel smell and difficulty starting vehicle, a dealer stated that they could not find any problems and that the consumer needed to take the vehicle back to the dealer where it was purchased, consumer had the fuel pump replaced.

When traveling and upon making a complete stop, the vehicle will cut off without prior warning. Consumer stated that after taking the key out the ignition and restarting the vehicle there is no problem. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has yet to find the problem.
I have had numerous problems with this car, including the car seizing up while I was on the road with my family, necessitating a new engine, I also have needed a new transmission, the windshield wipers go on and off by themselves, the brakes need constant replacement (I have had them replaced 6 times), and chrsyler could care less.
Vehicle uses up to a pint of anti-freeze every couple thousand of miles. Dealer cannot determine the cause.
While vehicle is in motion engine dies without cause. Dealer unable to locate problem area. Please describe.
