The contact owns a 2000 Dodge Caravan. The contact stated that while seated in the front passenger side seat, the heater vent was positioned directly on her arm. The contact noticed a burn on the back of her right arm the next day and felt that the heater caused the burn. The failure mileage was 91,000 and the current mileage is 91,200. When driving consumer smelled carbon monoxide coming in from air vents. Consumer had originally purchased a 2001, Plymouth grand voyager which had the same problem. Dealer noticed air conditioner filter was missing , added the filter ,and returned vehicle saying it should be fine. But, consumer was still able to smell carbon monoxide. Chrysler representative then instructed dealer to take vehicle back, and consumer picked this vehicle. Was told it had a air filtration odor particle remover as an option. Consumers wife is 6 months pregnant, and gets ill driving vehicle.

Heater exchange blower switch, has no control to adjust hot or cold , not a normal position, owner' s manual states that the vehicle comes with a switch to adjust.
