Passenger window will not work properly - sometimes goes down slowly and has to be pulled back up, sometimes won't go up at all. No parts available from manufacturer - back order of at least 2 weeks for a new window motor and relay, due to the high volume of failures!!!.

The power windows on the front driver and passenger doors intermittently will not go up after being powered down. You have to wiggle the window glass in order to get the window to go back up. This is "dangerous" if you get caught in a sudden thunderstorm on the highway with your windows down. It took me a while to figure out that you have to wiggle the glass in order for the window to go up. It's like the window gets off track.
Driver's side automatic operated window will not go upafter being put down. This was an intermittent problem. Please provide any further information.
I brought my 1996 Dodge Caravan in to cerritos Dodge on 4/4/00 to have my passenger window checked out because it was not going up and down. Cerritos Dodge claimed the window was sticking due to heat and was not concerned about it at the time. Then on 6/29/00, I brought my Caravan in again due to the fact that my passenger window was not working again. This time cerritos Dodge did fix it and replaced the window regulator, this part is covered under my warranty. The window does work at this time, but I will need to take it back in because it is sticking occasionally. Thank you for your time. Larry hill.
The drivers side power window would intermittently not work; the window would not go down. This started almost immediately when the car was purchased. It happened at least 5 or 6 times and finally would not work at all on 2/8/2000.
