The consumer's vehicle was involved in a rear end collision. Driver's seat belt failed to retract. As a result, the consumer's head hit the steering, and consumer sustained mild bruises.

Brake rotors are warped, and seatbelt retractor will not release.

The right rear seat belt retractor failed under warranty and was replaced. Then the left rear seat belt retractor failed out of warranty.

The consumer received a recall for the front seat belt retractor assemblies. The vehicle was inspected and the technician recommended the seat belts be replaced but the parts were not available to repair the vehicle. The technician indicated that the consumer would be notified when the part became available. More than a year past and the consumer still didn't hear from the dealer.

Once rear left side seat belt was pulled all the way out it would not retract back into the mechanism. Van was brought to the dealership. Whole seat belt was replaced. It took more than two months before the part was available to correct the problem. Please provide any further information.

Seat belt retractor: while trying to get daughter out of the car seat, the belt that goes over the head would not go forward to get her out. The sea tbelt constantly twisted inside the retractors and can't get them out.

Rear seat belts got jam inside the spring mechanism that retracts the belts. Cause = the "tar"used at the factory (Dodge) for rustproofing got to the inside of the retraction mechanism making totally useless the safety belts.
