Without any warning or signs of failure, the power steering will completely go out when making a left turn. For younger drivers that have never driven a vehicle without power steering, this will make them crash. This is a police pursuit vehicle, so we make left turns at higher rates of speed than average driver. This could kill a pedestrian, the driver, another driver of a car they would hit. Reading forums, this is happening a lot and very expensive to fix for the average person. Please get this to recall status. We service our vehicles frequently and it gives no warning that it is not working, just steering failure.
