The contact's son sustained intrusion of metal shards in his right leg and bruises on the stomach, arm, and chest. The contact's son also sustained migraine, insomnia, panic attacks, and ptsd. The contact's son did not receive medical assistance. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The dealer then towed the vehicle to their location and took pictures of the failure. The dealer then towed the vehicle back to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and denied assistance. The manufacturer sent a third party to fix an airbag recall. Before the third-party technician touched my truck for the recall, both my horn and cigarette lighter worked. Now, after their repair, neither works. Therefore, something they did caused an electrical fault. I advised whoever sent the technician and they said they would send the guy back. No one will answer my calls and no one has fixed my issue.

Got truck smogged 4/13/2021 and was told of an outstanding recall for airbag. This recall was fixed on 11/13/2015. Attached are copies of notice of recall after getting truck smogged and pages 1 and 2 of invoice showing repair on 11/13/2015. How do we get this updated in the system so it will not show up again when we get truck smogged next time?.

It is constantly overheating throwing off more codes. Passager airbag also keep turning off. Also well driving the car jerks back?.

Heated driver seat caught fire. Called dealership and was told there was a recall on the driver heated seat. The dealer said there was airbag recall on the driver and passenger side of the truck. The dealer said they would not repair airbags and would need to contact Dodge for a case number. Contacted Dodge and was told just drive carefully.

Passenger airbag was turned on but didn't deploy when hit head on and seat belt broke in two sections. Driver was driving normal and a truck coming opposite way hit a truck three truck length ahead spun out of control and hit our vehicle head on.

Airbag clockspring is not working, drivers airbag will not work and horn doesnt work along with any other controls on the steering wheel.

The technician told the contact that all recalls were done. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that an investigator would call the contact. The contact was not called. Hello, I have called larry hillis in poplar bluff several time about this recall on my truck. When I e-mailed them last week they sent me an e-mail saying they would take care of the problem, ( the same thing they told me when I called last year) if this need fixed then I am covering my bases in case something happens. Takata air bag. I purchased a 2005 Dodge Dakota in August 2018. I took it to the dealership in October when I found out about the recall. Dealership replaced drivers side but not passenger side. I was told and shown photos of an empty space. There was no airbag or wiring. I still have no psa. Also when I test drove this vehicle it had no headlights. When I purchased it I was told they were fixed. I do not have high beams still. There are also problems with the emissions on this truck. I replaced the evap pump but still is not correct. Can someone please tell me what I can do about these safety issues? thank you.

Takata recall - since I got my first recall notice several years ago, I have called 4 times for replacement, 4 times I got "it's on backorder, we'll call when it comes in". I'm still waiting for several years now and have little hope from the call I made today. Cut the ts!.

Takata recall. I received an official mailing from fca stating that "parts are available" for my free passenger air bag replacement. I called the phone number provided, they took my info, and transferred me to my local dealer to make an appointment. The dealer said they do not have the parts and put me on a call back list, but could not tell me an approximate date for call back. I am just reporting this status and do not expect any response. Please note that the manufacturer and dealer have different statuses. This prolongs a very dangerous situation which in my case, I was notified over one year ago. Thank you.

I have been waiting months!! I have rec'd three mailed notices and one call. I attempted to get this resolved immediately. The local dealer has stated that he is only allocated 7 (seven) airbags a week. I still have no idea when my Dodge Dakota will be repaired. I imagine that fca really wouldn't want to be sued if I was injured by these airbags. As I have made every effort to get my truck repaired. How can I get this resolved?? I was disconnected from fca and can get no real idea of when the truck will be repaired from the dealer.

So many of these trucks have dashboards that are literally falling apart and the recall on the airbags can't be done without the dashboards being replaced which is above $1400. 00! my 2004 Toyota 4runner dashboard did the same thing, only not as extreme as falling apart like my Dodge ram 1500. Toyota did the right thing and recalled the dashboard! this truck was just purchased for my son and now they can't and won't replace the airbag unless we pay to have the dashboard replaced? if the manufacturer of Dodge doesn't do the same and I or one of my passengers is hurt because of the recall airbag, you best believe there will be a huge lawsuit coming their way!.

I was in a wreck while in motion on a highway, the truck was tboned on the passenger side and turned over on its side and no airbags deployed.

I took it to crown Dodge for recall and they said it was going to be 10,000 dollars to bust dash so he come back and said the only thing he can do is cut the air bag off so I took the truck and trade it in for a 2017 Nissan frontier and the Dodge Dakota went to auto auction then to car lot in sanford nc and the guy sold it after I told him the passanger air bag is cut off.

I receive air bag recall notice in 2016. I have been waiting for koons Chrysler and Dodge dealer in mclean. Va to fix recall for over 6 months. I took the pick up truck with an appointment several months ago but they did not fix it because they needed to order a part. I have to drive my pick up truck back and forth from virginia to south carolina with this defect.

I have tried for several months to have my recall work done at las vegas Dodge on e sahara, they did repair the drivers side eventually but everytime I try to get appointment for the passenger side, they tell me they do not have the partand will have toorder it???????.
