, I was in a car accident on December 15 because my brakes failed and was hurt across my chest. The impact was strong because for a moment I lost time, but the hospital didn't give any brain scans. My chest hurt severely for a month and I still feel pain when I lift or move a certain way. Anyway I and many other people wondered why my airbag did not go off. I was not able to get my car out of the pound for lack of money but the front was much damaged. Would this fall under the recall that going on with the takata corp.

Takata recall I am upset at the way these takata recalls are being handled by dealers and the manufacturer. Neither dealer or manufacturer seem to have a handle on what is happening, when parts will be available, disseminating proper information to customers, etc. I just returned from wasting this morning at a Dodge dealer because I scheduled the work, and when I got there was told no parts were available. I should have been told that when I scheduled the work. I live 45 minutes one way, so it takes time and money to make these useless trips. I think much pressure should be exerted on manufacturers to divert airbags to recalls, and pull the airbags away from new car production until this issue is resolved. There should also be one person in charge of airbag recalls at each dealership to coordinate the flow of information, scheduling, parts, etc. And takata should pay the bill for these persons. Signed up for passenger air bag recall on July 22, 2016. I have waited over two and a half months to be notified to bring my truck in to have airbag replaced. I have made numerous calls to 1-800-853-1403, only to have been hung up on. They leave me and my passenger in danger. The truck is unsafe to drive and I'm worried each time I have to use it that hope the airbag does not explode. I need my truck and need them to repair it cause they created the problem. Please help me to get my truck airbag replaced, I think I have given them more than enough time.

Recall from may 2015 on airbags. I have yet to receive a phone call that parts are in as I was told by the dealer. A friend of mine went and asked for his Dakota and was scheduled right away. I went in today with a new recall and told them I was in last year and still have not been called. All I got was the recall I just received was new and they had no parts.

They will not offer any help or resolution. What am I to do? we contacted fca and they offer no solution. Do we have to wait until we reck and someone is killed before the government will force them to supply us with a safe vehicle? is there something else that we can do?.
