While pulling inside of a parking space consumer applied the brakes. There was a loud squeaking noise and the pedal was very hard. The dealership is aware of the problem. Tsthe abs light would intermittently illuminate. Consumer feels this is an issue of design or part flaw.

Consumer states that when trying to apply the brakes the brake pedal will go to the floor causing the vehicle to have extended stopping distance. Replaced master cylinder to correct the problem. No prior warning before failure. Brake light came on after failure. Road surface was dry.
Vehicle has trouble slowing down, and consumer has almost been in a few accidents due to this problem.

The consumer had the brake pads replaced and the rotors resurfaced, however after repairs the brakes are making noise.
Dealer performed unauthorized brake service, after consumer retrieved vehicle from dealer consumer noticed smoke coming from beneath the vehicle, upon inspection found out that the brake were burning. Nlm.
Brakes failed. Yh.
In 3 occurrences, the brake pedal was stiff when pressed and the vehicle did not break. On one occasion, no braking at all resulted in a crash. Visited the dealer several times, dealer cannot determine the problem.
During wet conditions 1 brake will lock up causing the other 3 brakes to fail to operate. This has happened several times, once causing me to slide into an intersection. I had the same problem with a 1997 Dodge dakota which, I assume has a very similar br.
While driving and upon coming to a complete stop, brakes make a noise. Had to press pedal completely to the floor to stop vehicle. Also, had brake pads changed at 30,000. This has caused two accidents.
While driving the vehicle's brakes become inoperative, the vehicle only has one functional brake system which is the front right. The vehicle also slides erratically, the dealer has been notified.
While driving at state speed limit stepped on brakes and without warning vehicle did not slowdown , vehicle continued coasting, causing consumer to use emergency brakes, and to turn vehicle off. When restarting, vehicle without warning, began to accelerate.
When applying brakes there is a hard resistance and the vehicle does not stop. Vehicle has rear ended two different vehicles. Dealer says the brake vacuum system is working properly.
While driving steering wheel was pulling to the left. Steering was also a little loose. Took vehicle to mechanic for brake work, and mechanic indicated ball joints were bad. Took vehicle to dealer, and had ball joints repaired.
