Intake seal leaked allowing most of the oil to burn. I was driving on the illinois tollway and the oil guage dropped to near zero and the warning tone dinged. When I eventually pulled into my dealer 6 quarts of oil later, they immediately new it was the intake seal and thankfully I had 3 weeks left on the warranty.
