Car refuses to start, insert fob car just clicks but will not turn over, sometimes doors won't open. Replaced battery in winter, 2 starters this summer (within one week), new batteries in fob, green wire to starter cleaned, took out fob and locked doors and unlocked doors (one site suggested they thought it might have to do with anti theft device), tried tapping/wiggling the gear shift (as suggested on another site), have tried all dealership and internet suggestions). I ask if it was a defected fob and was told "no". Have been stranded in extreme heat for 30 minutes and longer, stranded in very cold weather (thank god my daughter was at the same store I was at, in her Honda). Dealership stated it would cost a lot to try to find issue, this is not a consumer issue but Chrysler issue. Chrysler is aware so it should not be my dollar that finds their defect. (one site suggested the power integrated distribution module rl692302-ae - $1k to correct. ). Surprised there isn't already a recall for this issue since there are numerous reported from other owners. Afraid to drive car, don't know if it will just stop running while driving down the road, don't know if I will get stranded for hours. Took in for l25 recall and dealership stated that wasn't the issue. Fine still wanted the recall corrected. Safety hazard especially if it turns out to be electrical, might cause a fire. Need help!!!!!.
