Follow-up to #11289608 on 12/17/2019; the dealer performed a service bulletin #18-078-17 & pcm update, #181906sz as recommended by star technician. States vehicle functioning as designed. Two different dealerships have been unable to duplicate issues. Vehicle ran great 12/19 until may18, 2020. On 2-hr trip, vehicle stalled 4 times-no warning. In drive-thru line waiting, engine cut off - car wouldn't start. Towed to local dealership, rocky top cdjr in kodak, TN - diagnostics code po171 for sensor - not covered, my dime for $273. Drove home - no issues. On 5/21/2020, car started right up after filling up, then died - not vacuum issue. Tow truck driver put car in neutral manually to tow to dealership. Service advisor told of issues. On 5/25/2020, service advisor called-technician found the fuel pump losing pressure. Fuel pump module and fuel pressure module replaced under goodwill. Ran perfectly, no issue. On 6/11/2020, started up then died. Transmission temperature gauge hot, but no actual temperature shown. A reminder that plagued intermittently in 2019 and posted in first complaint to nhtsb and fca. Car towed once again to rocky top cdjr in kodak, TN - technician says fuel pump no longer working. Two weeks old and now not working. Part is back ordered till end of month?! now, have rental on my dime. Today, 6/16/2020, spoke to fifth (5th) reported fca case manager on continuing problems. No longer trust vehicle and deeply concerned for my safety because vehicle has yet to be fixed. Have found other NHTSA complaints disturbingly similar from 2018, 2019 and 2020: #11113660 (CA), next 3 are GA, same car #11243797, #11244334, #11245530 and #11317210 (FL). Always asked if the vehicle is fixed. . . I do not know until it's no longer giving me problems. My vehicle is still not fixed. . . There is something internally wrong with this model!!!.

I will describe the ¿problem¿ to the best of my ability: at completely random times if the car hasn¿t warmed up extensively it loses power and the feeling is as if you have been rear-ended by another car. Your foot is still on the gas and the car doesn¿t rev it just has nothing. I was almost hit many times. I actually had to pull out of traffic and put my flashers on to let it warm up another 7-10 minutes. This seemed to solve it, yet I still asked many people if they thought this was common with such a new vehicle. . I brought it in on March 14 at 7pm. By 9 am the next morning I got a call from the dealership and they had found nothing wrong with my car? there were ¿no codes and no warning lights, so they couldn¿t fix what they didn¿t see. ¿ I picked up the vehicle and drove home. 2 days later I drove a mile from my house to cvs pharmacy and had ¿the problem¿ occur while I was going about 45 miles per hour. Again, I was almost hit by a car behind me because the car immediately stops with no warning, no braking, etc. . . It is the scariest feeling! it was completely odd to me because it was not cold this day. I looked the temp gauge in the car and it was 53 degrees. My husband told me to not drive it the rest of the day. When he got home he followed me to the dealership. They had the car over a month and finally called me. They claim it was a loose wire, but gave me such vague info. . I talked to the service manager and he still said they didn't know 100% accuracy what was wrong with this car. He said he would not deem it 100% safe. I chose to turn the lease in early because I will not risk my life or my family's life in this car. I don't want another person to buy this car not knowing the condition it is in! it only has 8345 miles on it and is a beautiful car, but dangerous!.

All the vehicle dash lights started flashing, gauges bounced to 0 and back, wipers would activate, and vehicle made chime noise - repeatedly. The problem will sometimes last only for a few seconds and other times for the duration of the drive, and even continuing upon startup of the next drive. This problem was very intermittent to begin with and now is becoming more common. I have not been able to find a solution and the dealer originally told me that they could not help me because they could not duplicate the problem. This problem is well known on many online forums and is a huge safety concern for my wife and children. I believe that it may be an issue related to the tipm and related to NHTSA action number :dp14004. Dodge really needs to recall this issue, immediately. The problem is happening very frequently now.
