With only 37,000 miles on this truck I experienced all of my dashboard lights related to abs to light up . Had codes read revealing c2200 anti-lock brake module internal and c120d rear traction control prime valve control circuit low. The truck was still drivable up until the right front wheel and wheel assembly overheated and caused my right front disc rotor to overheat and begin to come apart from the inside out and also caused a blown piston sleeve on the break caliper to cause the front wheel assembly to actually overheat with smoke and extreme asbestos smelling heat coming out of the wheel. I have contacted the dealer to ask them if they would help honor what is in fact a vehicle with just 1000 miles more than the 36,000 mile warranty and they refused to take any responsibility for the failure of the abs system or the blown caliper and rotor. I have since at my expense replaced two front disc rotors and 1 right front caliper and added my second set of new brake pads ( the set that was on there were just replaced and only had about 6000 miles on them. ) I have read online that this problem has happened to over 75,000 Dodge ram pick up trucks and I can not imagine that this is not a safety related issue that at least gets Dodge to acknowledge they have faulty electronic braking equipment .
Started up and the abs dash indicator light stayed on. I took the truck to my mechanics and noticed the speedometer wasn't working. My mechanics found the problem with the abs right away. They said that a fire had occurred and the entire truck could have caught fire. The abs controller was burnt and the wires leading from it.

It feels like the brakes are applied automatically, without drivers intervention and truck stalls out in the road. Abs light comes on for a short time then goes out. This happened three times in a row and then all was fine. 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. Two wheel drive truck.

I had just purchased my Dodge Ram 1500 @56000 mi used and 2 months later the abs-light and the brake light came on I have taken it to be diagnosed and it came up a 72i was told it needed the cab module sensor replaced so we called the local dealer who says such part is about $315 so of course it will have to wait but the mechanic who diagnosed the lights said he had seen 2 or 3 same year trucks with their lights on also although they weren't there to get that problem fixed he had noticed that also so I was wondering before it becomes an accident waiting to happen if this is a recall situation or if anyone else has had the same problem I've had ,,,thank you.

I have had 4 sets of front brakes and 3 sets of rear brakes on this truck. I have replace the calipers and rotors twice. Truck only has 64k miles on it and now it pulls to the left and the abs lights are now on. On one occasion the truck pulled so hard to the left I wound up in the other lane forcing the person in that lane to move to the shoulder of the freeway. I then took it up to Dodge and once again they said the calipers were sticking and recommended replacing them. I had and extended warranty on the truck that was sold to me by Dodge, and they refused to pay for it because they thought there was nothing wrong with the brakes. I truly should have pursued the lemon law with this 99 ram. Does anybody know what the problem with these brakes are?.
During vehicle operation the abs light stays on, when the brakes are applied during normal stops, the brakes fade in and out. A delay is experienced.
