Radio/tape Cd Player Problems of Dodge Ram 1500

2008 Ram 1500 4 door p/up truck. Factory radio/ . Noise coming from cd player when radio was playing . Saturday morning , radio off . Radio screen lights up like the inside of a bread toaster . Orange lines appear on the screen. And get hot to the touch . Looks like melting wires . I pulled over and disconnected the battery negative . Looked for a radio fuse in the fuse panel . But was unsuccessful . There was a burning smell coming from the radio or dashboard still hot to the touch after unsuccessfully locating a radio fuse anywhere . I reconnect the battery negative and noticed the same problem is occurring and then disconnected the negative and call for assistance . Please help.

The truck shuts down while in motion driving, no codes come up,you still have radio playing and air, its like you turned it off ,it does start back, this happens random, I was lucky an accident hasn't occurred yet, I believe it's the ignition switch,I also noticed that if you touch the key it will shut off but still be in the operation mode.

Electrical components started to malfunction or not work. Driver side lock, radio, power to engine stalling. Vehicle was stationary believe the problem is the relay fuse compartment under the hood.

Radio in truck stays on while truck is off and the keys are not in the ignition for long periods of time. Makes a dinging sound when the door is opened when the truck is off and keys are out of the ignition. Doors won't lock with the key battery opener during hot temperatures outside. The truck is stationary during these times and has happened several times. Unknown.

My 2005 Dodge ram srt-10 viper truck engine stalls/shuts down without warning, no codes, no errorlights while driving. . . I have a problem with my truck stalling out when parking or going through slow turns. In the middle of an intersection¿while an emergency vehicle was approaching, it died and I slowly drifted over to an adjacent curve. . The most recent was on 11/06/15, but it has happened at least 5 times over the past 5 months. All lights and the radio remain on and it starts right back up, however my steering and brakes lock up which is a huge safety concern. When the steering wheel is turned my rpms drop dramatically and it sounds like the truck wants to stall. Started surging and stalling so in it went in again, this time they replaced the iac module . . . And then they thought it might be the fuel pump¿so they tested the fuel rail and claim that it was losing 5% of its torque¿but not to be concerned¿then they thought it might be the map sensor¿but no !. . . Again with no indication, no error lights; and no codes¿ ¿ and the dealership mechanics still can not get it to run without shutting off once you step on the accelerator it dies¿ to dealer for checkup. Could not and can not find the problem. And they charged me $967. 00 why can¿t fiat-Chrysler save face when they know a part problem exists and just fix it right without ripping off customers ? the mopar mechanics have had my truck since November 6th, 2015 , (over two months ) and still can not figure out what is wrong with it¿. . ¿they want me to pay more money while they explore different options they claim that the fiat-Chrysler coprporation engineers want them to try¿ ¿really. . Ss you are asking the consumer/customer to fund the education of your mechanics¿fiat-Chrysler really ????? please recall these trucks before some-one or some-family gets killed please. . Please !!.

First off I love my truck. I am however highly frustrated that Dodge can not seem to resolve two issues that I am having. The first I believe is a safety issue. I have had this issue for about a year, and have had it at 3 different dealerships each time they say that they can not seem to duplicate the problem and there is no code stored in the computer there for nothing done. While I am driving around town at speeds of 40-50 mph all of my dash lights and my radio turn off, stay off for about 5 seconds as if rebooting and come back on. The instrument clusters with dials all fall to the left not reading anything. I am afraid that one time it does this it will not come back on and leave me stranded or worse maybe cause me to have an accident. The second issue I have been having is that the passenger side door locks front and back seem to have a mind of their own and do not lock when their supposed to. Same thing two different dealerships can not duplicate the problem and a re-flash of the computer was supposed to fix the problem. They still will not lock with the switch on the driver or passenger side, either key phoebe, or through u connect (remotely). 1 dealership did supposedly change-out an actuator and it is still having the same issues.

When you copy mp3's to the hard drive and then play them the radio will lock up and not function till you shut the car off for 90seconds I have had the radio replaced and it still does the same thing I have a 2013 durango that does the exact same thing. This is a software bug in the radio.

Dashboard has completely fragmented apart. It has been taped to prevent pieces of hard plastic from dropping into electrical components. Should an accident occur, serious injury will result from dashboard breaking into many sharp shards.

The dash is cracking and caving in. Radio isn't working now due to cut or burnt wires. The passenger side airbag could deploy at any sec with all the cracks and pieces fallen.

2007 Ram 1500 4. 7 automatic. 16000 miles. Passenger side door speaker went bad at about 11000 miles. Rattles. Have not taken into dealer yet.

Cd/cassette clock radio - clock gains time; must be reset once evey 2 months.

My 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 sport quad cabs abs and brake lights are on. My abs no longer works. Occasionally while drive the lights will go out but come right back on. The truck is also equipped with steering wheel controls for the radio. While using the volume buttons sometimes it will change radio station or will turn up when you want it to go down. I saw the ram van of the same year has a recall for the clock spring. It states that the symptoms are the abs and brake lights stay on. Does this recall apply to the ram trucks also?.

I was struck by lightening through the antenna while driving. I am having some medical problems and have yet to see doctor. I was tingled by theligtening, and sore from head to foot. Is not a vehicle suppose to have arresters to prevent this from happening?.

The passenger quad door speaker buzzes, dealer replaced speaker, the buzzing noise is still present.
