Consumer states: all of a sudden vehicle died when making a turn in traffic , no lights came on, it just died. Dealer couldn't find anything wrong the first time 4/14/05 but then they called back had us come in, and they flashed the computer on 4/15/05, and then had us bring it back and flashed again on 4/25/05. Then it happened on 5/6/05 and 5/7/05 and damler-Chrysler had dealer change map sensor on 5/10/05.
Early December rpms of motor were higher than normal in overdrive and it would
disengage itself out of overdrive on the highway. 12/13/02 bob valenti's service dept replaced selenoid, scanned transmission control module & reset valves. Problem still existed. On 12/18/02 transmission lost every gear but 1st
gear. Service dept now tells me shaft for transmission pump broke & I need a new transmission. Dodge willing to pay 1/2 for parts but my bill is
still $3,000. 00. I don't believe I should pay for any of this. They
should pay all of it.

On four occasions after encountering rough pavement or railroad tracks the front end of the veh has started to shake violently, necessitating coming to a complete stop to regain control. Had steering damper and traction bar replaced at 36768 miles. Again at approximately 45100 miles had same violent shaking of front end when crossing railroad tracks. Feels as if truck is flying apart and out of control until able to come to complete stop. Selling dealer has recommended replacing steering stabilizer. Will.
