He would have to restart the vehicle in order to get it to shift. The vehicle has not been inspected by a dealer nor has it been repaired. Also, when making turns at low speeds he noticed that there was a grinding noise in the steering. 2 Noises During Shifting problem of the 2004 Dodge Ram 2500

Failure Date: 12/08/2005

: the consumer stated the vehicle rolled backwards 30 seconds exiting the vehicle. There was a clicking noise as if the vehicle was attempting to shift into reverse. There is a NHTSA recall, # 05v462000, regarding the automatic transmission. The consumer experienced the same problem as indicated in the recall, however the vehicle identification number. 3 Noises During Shifting problem of the 1997 Dodge Ram 2500

Failure Date: 01/17/2001

This is fifth time that his vehicle has been in repair shop for transmission. When shifting gears there is a clunking noise, and there is leaking underneath. Dealership is aware of problem.
