My drivers side window doesn't go up or down . Also my passenger window is doing the same thing. I see there was a recall for window regulators for my truck. Will I be able to get it recalled?.

Check engine light came on while driving home and the engine shut down 4 times each time the battery would die instantly. We had to keep jump starting it to get home. 2 days later the check engine light started flashing. Scanned it came back p0304 cylinder 5 misfire. Changed spark plugs and coils. Engine light went off. Ran obd2 scanner to double check codes. Code p2503 charging system low voltage . Took battery to advanced auto parts had them test it. The coca should have been 650cca and was at 11cca so bought a new battery. Next day took son to school less the 2 miles ran fine on my way home it died 3 times this time I would wait a few minutes then restart it. Check engine light never came on started searching on line and and calling mechanics. So bought new alternator. Started the truck to warm up after 5 minutes it shut down again waited a minute and started back up did it again. This time the battery light came on. So after searching many people were saying the fuseable link was bad so went to Ford had one ordered installed it to day. Battery light still on started it ran for 5 min and died again. So now I bought new spark plugs, coil packs, battery, alternator, fusible lin. Now obdii code b1676- battery pack voltage out of range tester battery fully charged tested alternator it's at 14. 7 which it supposed to be.

Tamara recall my front windows, drivers and passengers window regulator do not work, it is very unsafe to use vehicle like this, if I have a wreck and need to crawl out of window.
Customer complained of the vehicle stalling. Testing found an electrical issue with the fuel supply and delivery system. Removal and inspection of the fuel pump found the internal power wire to the pump rubbed through on the pressure regulator ground spade causing a short circuit inside the fuel tank - this short circuit blows fuse 44 in the underhood fuse box, causes the vehicle to stall without warning, melted the safety ground wire between the fuel pump and pressure regulator, and has a high chance of causing a fire inside the gas tank. This was on the factory oe motorcraft fuel pump assembly.

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Expedition. While the vehicle was at a standstill, the front driver and passenger side windows failed to open. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the power window regulator failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall on the regulator. While driving 25 mph, the contact attempted to switch the heater off, but the heater failed to turn off. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was determined that the blower had likely failed. The contact took the vehicle home before the dealer could properly diagnose the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

My vehicle was parked in the driveway and I was alerted by my dogs barking. I opened my garage door to see the entire engine compartment on fire. The fire was so intense that everything under the hood had melted. The fire marshals said the alternator cause it.

I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle. Had problem w/ drivers seat & mirror fuse blowing out since I purchased truck in August 2011. Some time in 2012 I started having additional problems w/ my truck like radio &/or heating/air not coming on when started. Check engine light going on & off & back windshield wiper stopped working. Then it was the vehicle was dying quickly by leaving the radio on for 10 min after vehicle was turned off. We replaced the battery & terminals that connect at the positive & negative. We had plenty of other issues like the entire brake lines needing replacing due to rusting. There is now rusting on other parts of the truck. Blew fuse to air conditioner 2x. Things seem to be ok after battery was replaced until the truck shut off several times while driving it over the past year. Sometimes if you waited 5-10 minutes it would restart. Vehicle has been in shop & nothing comes back on diagnostic test. We have had the alternator & fuel pump tested. The cables to the battery were just found rotted & replaced but something is still killing my battery. The fuse box has been making loud click noises when the truck struggles to start. Today it wouldn't start again until jumped & now the radio wouldn't go on. At the shop again & the mechanic is stumped but working on it! from research it seems to be either a fuel pump relay that is apparently sodder into the fuse box & almost impossible to replace w/ replacing the whole box or it is the fuse box itself. I am also seeing claims of water leaking down windshield & getting into fuse box. All I know is Ford should acknowledge & recall before someone gets killed! my children were in the car several times now when it staled while I was driving or stuck in parking lot & even a severe thunderstorm when it won't start. And now I'm reading the fuse box has caught fire in some of these cars! I rely on this vehicle!.
We were driving on 95 when we heard a thud-type noise. We thought we had a flat tire, but then the vehicle would no longer accelerate. We were able to get off at the exit that was immediately upon us and safely pull off on the side of the road. We did not have any flat tires. The vehicle would still turn on and run (so we knew it wasn't the alternator), but it wouldn't accelerate. The Ford dealership informed us it was the mextronics electronic portion of the shift mechanism and valve body in the transmission. They said that this type of problem could not have been prevented and it does not happen often.

The 2000 Expedition eddie bauer was purchased with 117,208 miles from ron marhaufer automall inc in the year 2011. In the last six months I have experienced numerous electrical issues with this vehicle. I have spent over $1000. 00 dollars replacing numerous parts two electrical coils and a alternator. The vehicle will run ok, I noticed that if I drive and stop and park two too three times, the auto will not start right away. I have to continually take the car out of gear and return the gear shifter to park. The auto will then start. I also noticed that the dash lights will illuminate to bright on their own while driving. I am concerned that the Ford motor company is aware of these issues and have failed to recall all affected vehicles. I have seen many complaints fro the same reason. What is the solution?.
After owning the vehicle for about 3 months the battery went dead, I put a new battery in it and it worked fine for about 2 weeks then it was dead again. I hooked it to a diagnostic machine and no codes. I then replaced the alternator and now there is a code but since the 1st incident I had to disconnect the battery every time I turn the engine off or after 4 to 8 hours the battery is dead again. I haven't had the codes check yet but I will soon.
2007 Ford Expedition limited el. Driver side window regulator broke at 67k miles. I had to order a new one and replace the entire unit.

I have had multiple power window failures on my 2007 Ford Expedition. The front passenger and driver side windows will not operate due to failed regulators. The drivers side window has now failed twice. It was repaired in 2009.
Rain/snow cause water to leak into the gem module & fuse box under driver's side dashboard causing complete electrical failure, wacky electrical things like fan motor running without key in ignition, strange "stupid lights" periodically on dash, etc. Have replaced these twice, very expensive.
2002 Expedition eddie bauer edition it's been having electrical issues for awhile, and just recently the alternator had to be replaced. Since then the lovely electrical issues have snowballed. Driving down the road, my locks start locking and unlocking themselves. Then the warning lights start going off (airbag, theft device, abs, battery). Then it starts to shake and I press the gas pedal, and nothing happen except it rolls forward slowly, like I'm idling through the light. I made it to the 7-11 parking lot just before it died. I've got no idea what is wrong, only that I'm either the owner of a very large paperweight, or my truck is possessed.

Alternator failed at 55,000 miles, seems a bit early for this to happen. Replaced with new, battery light and check charging system warning will not go off. Both alt and battery tested fine on analyzer.
I sent you an e-mail about a week ago bringing to your attention to this safety issue with Ford trucks. What happens is in a hard rain water comes into the fuse panel, it shorts out, the gem shorts out, the pcm shorts out, > > you smell an electrical burning smell, all gauges start going crazy and truck cuts out instantly!
this has happened to our family -once pulling out into oncoming traffic (during a hard rain) the truck stopped running instantly. Got someone to jump start the vehicle. The second time at least six months later, again in hard rain - same situation this time my husband was 170 miles away. This time he smelled an electrical burning smell. After smelling this he got out of the truck and pulled out the battery in fear of what was next. Later put the battery back in however, this time a jump wouldn't work . He got a "new" battery and that didn't work either. The truck has been towed to the nearest Ford dealer lake Ford in lewistown, PA. Here's what they say. The fuse panel has to be
replaced it was shorted out along with the gem, and the pcm. With all that totaling over $800. 00. And just yesterday I talked to lake Ford and they informed me their going to put in a new alternator and it also needs a new instrument panel due to it was burned out also. (approx $700. 00) and they tell us that even after all of the above is fixed the trucks radio and air bags! will not work they too were shorted internally. So when we get our truck back and paying over $1,500 we will have no airbags! all due to a Ford manufacturing error. (windshields not sealed properly). Even more important than the dollars we will have to pay. What will happen to the next person will they be able as lucky as us and avoid a serious accident? I have brought this to the attention of the Ford motor vehicle company several times and they are failing to address it. There should be a safety recall put in on these Ford trucks right away.

During driving of vehicle all gauges went to zero, lights wouldn't work, radio went out, ac went out, windows, etc. Replaced the battery and it worked fine for 1 day. Put in a new battery and all of the lights started flashing on and off with a clicking noise coming from the fuse box. Replaced the alternator and tried to hook up battery. Vehicle started doing the same thing. Now we are looking at having to replace the gem and fuse box due to water/moisture. Isn't there something we can do about this? it is obviously a problem as you can see from other complaints.
1999 Ford Expedition 5. 4 liter v8 eddie bauer - vehicle odometer began to fail intermittently, then radio, then random dash lights, I. E. 4x4 - even after car turned off. All of the above and then some went haywire and car stalled out. Got to safe place w/out power steering, brakes, etc. Took to mechanic and had alternator replaced. After 3 days same event occurred. Mechanic replaced alternator again and battery - said battery was problem now. After 3 days event has begun to recur. Co-worker has 2000 model and is experiencing same problems. No info on recall but internet reveals several similar complaints.
2003 Expedition relay junction box burned. ***** the vehicle stalled while being driven. The problem was diagnosed as a relay problem and replaced the relay. After repair the vehicle would not shift into overdrive. The dealer performed diagnostic test which determined that the junction had melted. The junction box was replaced but the vehicle still had no overdrive nor third gear. The dealer removed the transmission pan and found internal transmission damage. The consumer feels that the transmission was destroy when the junction box burned out. The consumer has the burned junction box in his possession. Prior to this failed the vehicle alternator had to be replaced.
There is an investigation # pe05033 for the 1099-2002 models, but it does not included the 1998 model that was having the same exact problems as described in pe05033. . Took vehicle to a mechanic shop, and they have replaced a jammed module on August 30, 2004, and on September 13, 2005 they replaced the alternator. Had no trouble until it rained again and the vehicle would not start. Then, the vehicle was sitting for about thirty minutes and it started. After driving the vehicle, turning the vehicle off, and taking the key out of the ignition the door chime was clicking ,/the radio was going, and the air conditioner was running with no keys in the ignition.

A week ago the alternator light and abs light began to flash while the vehicle was being driven. It then died, this happed on Thursday. The alternator was draining the battery. The battery has been replaced twice since Thursday. The vehicle caught on fire two weeks ago while being driven. The fire was put out by the owner. The vehicle was repaired by the dealer under recall for the cruise control. The vehicle is now in the dealership service department. Dealer is now trying to determine the root of the battery and alternator problem. The owner feels this may be linked to the original cruise control recall.
Engine compartment fire while vehicle was parked. Vehicle had been parked 30 minutes. Alternator replaced 1 month ago. Cruise control used sometimes. Last used 1 month ago and it worked. No after market equipment. Bruce york went to see vehicle and took pictures.

On June 21, 2003, I traveled to a grocery store just outside my subdivision. I was in the store about ten minutes when the store manager started to page the owner of a blue Expedition. At the time I thought I had left my lights on. Unfortunately, I was notified that the vehicle was on fire in the store's parking lot. When I arrived outside, the entire front end of the Expedition was in flames. The fire was so intense it burned through the hood of the vehicle. By the time I made it outside, firefighters were already battling the blaze. My vehicle was a total loss.
While driving 30 mph, the vehicle vibrated uncontrollably. Suddenly, the vehicle stalled. The driver tried to restart the vehicle and was not able to do so. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic informed the driver that the alternator and battery needed to be replaced. While unlocking the driver's door with the automatic switch both side rear view mirrors would automatically move up and down. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic replaced both side rear view mirror motors. Please provide further details. Consumer adds both side view mirrors motors replaced 2 to 3 more times. The fog light housing replaced, rear light covers replaced due to moisture, heater core switch replaced from dash. Brakes squealing when applied. Transmission slipping and power steering pump winding.
While driving at highway speeds advance track system light illuminated, then all electrical components started to flash. Heard a rattling noise, pulled over, turned off engine to see what problem was, and vehicle would not restart. Took vehicle to dealer, and they stated it was the alternator.
