Brake Antilock Control Unit/module problems of the 2000 Ford F-150

1 Brake Antilock Control Unit/module problem

Failure Date: 11/29/2004

Abs light commences to illuminate while driving 25 mph or more. Vehicle was taken to a repair shop, and mechanic determined that the abs control module needed to be replaced due to corrosion. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified.

2 Brake Antilock Control Unit/module problem

Failure Date: 09/15/2004

After the abs light came on consumer took the vehicle to dealer for inspection. It was determined that the abs control module wiring become corroded at the module and fell off.
