Driver's was pulling into a parking lot, turned vehicle to park and brakes failed causing vehicle to hit cement poll in parking lot.
Vehicle experiencing intermittent loss of brakes, when applied at a low speed of 25 mph or less, and then reengaged. Dealer notified, and informed that was the way system was designed to operate. Brakes failure resulting in accident.
Consumer stated that on two occasions, brakes have failed that resulted in accidents, they have failed on other occasions but did not result in an accident, the dealer said nothing is wrong but nature of anti-lock system and he blamed it on warped rotors. The brake pedal does not vibrate when problem occurs, which is customary with warped rotors,. Each time they were testing abs at high speeds but consumers problem occurs at slow speed.
