Engine has grinding noise for 2-3 seconds on daily initial startup and when engine is cold after sitting several hours. Dealer performed engine diagnostic and diagnosed the timing chain issue. For timing chain issues, this requires the replacement of timing chain and phasers. Dealer est cost to fix = $4000+. This has been a reported issue for this engine over the last 3+ years. Ford has refused to address on a recall, or refund customers who have already incurred this expense.
