The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 40 mph, the vehicle unintendedly downshifted. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to the residence and turn off the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the leadframe and the wheel speed sensor needed to be replaced. The contact was also informed that the VIN was not under recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the VIN was not under recall. The contact was referred to the NHTSA hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 95,000.
