1 Front Air Bag problem of the 2006 Ford F-150

Failure Date: 06/03/2011

I recieved a recall notice (11s18) from Ford motor company for air bag deployment issues that could cause injury to driver. I scheduled appointment for this repair and dropped 2006 Ford f150 at the dealer on scheduled date. The truck repair couldnot be performed because Ford motor company did not supply the parts. I have a hard time getting the truck to the dealer for the day as it is my only transpertation as I work 20 miles away from home. Ford motor company should have supplied this part prior to the scheduled date provided to me. I think Ford motor company owes me some time and transportation now to get this problem fixed or take the piece of you know what back. I have not had a good to say the least experiance with this Ford truck and I am not the only one that feels the way I do about Ford. And the problems they are putting on the road and to the customers.

2 Front Air Bag problem of the 2004 Ford F-150

Failure Date: 05/25/2011

Our 2004 Ford f150 4x4 truck was subject to recall 11s18. When we took the truck in for the recall work at the nearest Ford dealer service department informed us that they didnt have the parts to complete the recall work on our truck because the service rep said that Ford only sends them five of the harness recall parts per day and they have been dealing with over 30 calls per day for this recall work and they have no idea when they will get the part to complete the recall work on our truck but they will call when they get the part. This is unacceptable in a safety recall.

A 2002 Ford F-150 struck a 1996 chevy blazer in the right rear, there for having damage to the front and front left quarter panel of the F-150.
