The contact owns a 1999 Ford f350 crew cab. As he was trying to get out of the vehicle the rear passenger and driver side door would not open. The contact stated that the passenger had to climb over the front seat in order to get out of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that they needed to replace the cables on the door. The contact was responsible for paying the repair cost of $600 since there were no recalls or warranties. The manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 75,000. There are toxic fumes coming through the defroster when it is turned on. Which is distracting the driver on the road. Manufacturer had been contacted by consumer. The consumer purchased a carbon monoxide detector in which the vehicle registered 40 ppm. As the weather turned cold, the consumer was unable to use the defroster or heater due to the diesel fumes from the exhaust system. The consumer suffered nose bleeds and his mother-in-law had become ill while riding in the vehicle. Two dealerships stated that they could not find anything wrong with the vehicle. The engine died while going down hill to a stop at times, the vehicle stuck in 4x4 low, driver door molding was coming a loose, head light was inoperative at times and the switch was replaced, the rear door did not line properly and leaked air therefore both rear door upper seals were adjusted.

While driving with dogs in vehicle, one of the dogs' paws was resting on door armrest. It then slipped down on door handle & the door swung open. They fell out of vehicle while it was moving. The door was locked at time the handle was engaged. Lock on door affects outside of vehicle, but not inside.
When consumer drives he smells diesel fumes. Headlight and interior lights hesitate when they are first turned on. Transmission doesn't shift correctly. Driveline has too much slack. Doors rattle. Rubber trim around back door is coming off. Heater switch is bad. Loud exhaust leak after starting the truck in the morning. All of these problems have been reported to the dealer.

Because inside door handle is built into the arm rest, when pressure is applied to the handle, the door will sling open. Dealer and manufacturer have been notified.
Rotors warp after one thousand miles, have to continuously replace them. More brakes were applied the less stopping power consumer had. Also, doors make a rattling sound. Took vehicle to dealer. Please provide any further information.
