Erratic transmission slipping in lower gears.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. The contact stated that the transmission was slipping while driving. Additionally, the vehicle hesitated while driving without warning. The contact stated that the engine sputtered and the rpm revved up while switching gears. The vehicle was taken to autonation Ford miami (16800 NW 57th Ave, miami, FL 33015, 305-707-0141) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the transmission clutch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 89,000.
I purchased my car new from ryan Ford in sealy TX and immediately started having transmission problems. I took my car back and they adjusted my clutch. That same day, the car made a loud noise and felt like the bottom was coming out as I was driving on the toll. I took my car back again and they kept my car for a week. They said they could not find anything wrong with it. Fast forward, I contacted Ford and they asked me to call Ford relations. I told Ford relations that it was jerking and hesitating. So I took my car to autonation Ford here in katy, TX. They replaced the battery and the clutch. I took my car back to autonation Ford and explained to the transmission gentleman that my dad and my boyfriend had driven my car and said the transmission was slipping. The service man drove in the neighborhood, nottingham, and said there was nothing wrong with it. So I then received a recall notice and I called to schedule an appointment and the lady who schedules appointments told me that my car will always have "shuttering" problems not matter how many adjustments or how many times they change my clutch. She said Ford has extended their warranty to I believe 60k miles. My first brand new car was a Ford explorer sport which I loved. I never had a problem. I have purchased 2 Ford explorers, a f150, a Focus (but I did not have a transmission problem), and I leased a flex. My car has under 40k miles and I am very frustrated that the car will always have a problem. I financed $25k and I am ready to drop off my car at the dealership with the keys! I do not want to put anymore money into this car!!!!! I will never buy another Ford again. I filed a claim with Ford but they said there was nothing they could do because I waited too long. Nobody ever told me that what was really going on with the clutch. They made me feel to be a stupid lady. I will send further documentation.
My vehicle bucks every time I accelerate. I was told it is supposed to be this way, but it feels like it the transmission is slipping when I first accelerate and sometimes as I go through the gears.
When starting from a stop or accelerating the transmission slips and suddenly gains traction. Noticeable slipping and missed shifts are always occuring.
Transmission slips/shutters/jerks. The automatic transmission has had problems since new. They have repaired it several times and the problem just comes back. It causes hesitation when accelerating from a stop and is dangerous to drive when it happens. Ford will not repair it until the slippage is outside their threshold, but by that time it is a hazard. These cars need to be replaced.
Issues with the transmission slipping, engine hesitating and not accelerating immediately. Has been to the dealer twice and both time said nothing is wrong. Same issues that is part of the class action lawsuit. Occurs when accelerating from a stop, every time.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. While driving 35 mph, the transmission slipped and the vehicle jerked forward. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 39,000.
Transmission continues to slip. Car flutters and jerks at every start.
I was driving on a major road at speeds of 50mph when car lost all power to the wheels and transmission slipped. I was leaving a mall parking lot and accelerating when the car jerked dangerously and stopped accelerating causing me to loose speed and control of the vehicle. Probable cause: transmission failure or disconnect.
