When I am driving my car is fine, however when I come to a complete stop then try to accelerate, my car's transmission seems to stick. . . Then it causes my car to shudder. It happens every time my car hits 1600rpms.
I literally just bought this car and the stereo is popping very loudly when it is turned off , loud, low nothing seems to work but turning the car off and on. This a extreme safety hazard from being scared from the popping notices out of no where to my hearing on the road which is a danger. I have read many many problems with this happening but there is no recall. I am also have power issues to where my car jerks and shudders after a complete stop like it doesn't want to take off which it should not do. I have read many defects on this problem too.
Car began shuddering and then would no longer shift gears or accelerate while going up an on ramp to the highway. Had to put the car in neutral to roll out of traffics way.
Recently had my transmission replaced for 7th time, car still shuddering, hesitating with lack of power whether at a standstill or on the move.
Car shakes badly when accelerating from a stop, especially on an incline. Car can stall and come to a stop when traveling less than 40 mph. The first issue has been happening since the car was new and the stalling began happenin just in the last week.
2015 Ford Focus has severe shuddering and hard shifting after stopping. When first moving from a stop sign or stop light the vehicle shudders and shifts hard. Ford told me that the only thing I can do is to file a complaint with NHTSA.
My 2015 Ford Focus has had it's clutch completely replaced 2 times so far. Over the years the car has frequently jerked forward when accelerating from a braking position, often times misses gears when accelerating and is already in motion, and the entire car noticeably shudders while waiting at stop lights. The dealer told me for years that these were all normal car occurrences and I needed to accelerate harder to break in the car. Eventually, one rep relented and explained it was a faulty design with no solution and that I'd need to come back in and have the clutch replaced every 10k miles. Unfortunately, it's now that time again as all of the signs have manifested once again. Sadly, I haven't even hit 30k miles and a fourth clutch is already needed.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. While driving approximately 20 mph, the vehicle shuddered without warning. Will driving down the street the other day my car stalled out well driving this is not the first time this has happened not only that but when you accelerate my car grinds while shifting gears the Ford dealership already told me it's due to my recall issue but when asked to fix it they told me I was going to have to pay them first my children were in my car had we been on the highway we could have been dead something needs to be done about this needs to be done as soon as possible because I am telling you right now if something happens to me or my family I will hold whoever is reading this email and forward personally responsible.
When turning the car vibrates and shakes a lots and make some noise. Not sure what this could be but need help with this before something happens. This happened upon turning take off, highway, exhilaration in city also too. I just bought the car I notice third a friend bought this to my attention I thought it was the all whee we drive. Bought car03-08-20 drive out of town in April for wedding.
Clutch in transmission slips. Recalled on other models but not this one. Causes car to not take off smoothly, jitters bad enough to shake the car.
When I am driving my car is fine, however when I come to a complete stop then try to accelerate, my car's transmission seems to stick. . . Then it causes my car to shudder and shake. This issue also occurs during accelerating at lower speeds (10-30mph) and can occur during acceleration when a complete stop has not been made.
The car shakes and stutters in lower gear and it is very dangerous. When I go from a stop into first gear the car will not immediately start and when it does, it shutters. The whole car shakes when I am driving in the city because of the start/stop. This is going to cause an accident. Other Ford Focus cars from 2015 are recalled, but mine is not for some reason. The transmission is going to fail and I asked Ford to help re-set the transmission or replace it, and they will not. Please help me.
While accelerating the vehicle doesn't know when to shift into gears causing the vehicle to shudder and make a rattling noise. Received a code saying transmission fault, service now. while hitting bumps the vehicle makes a crunching noise.
My 2015 Ford Focus had a recall due to a faulty transmission in 2017. The cars engine would shudder when switching from 1st to 2nd gears in the automatic/manual transition. I replaced the transmission under the recall warranty. However, almost a year later to this date my transmission/engine is showing the same signs.

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the engine would suddenly began to shutter causing the vehicle to shake and vibrate. The contact indicated the failure would often occur while slowing down. In addition while the engine would idle a thumping and ticking noise was present coming from the engine. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer bill pierre Ford, 11525 lake city way n. E. Seattle was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 35,000. Jft.
The car shuddered and jerked when stopped and on acceleration from a stop. A metal grinding can be heard from the engine while driving during this jerking from acceleration. The car would lose power while driving. One time, the car stalled, resulting in lose of power, while I was turning left through an intersection. I have brought the car into the dealership for repair many times with no resolution of these symptoms.
I have brought this vehicle,or attempted to bring it,into the dealership service department multiple times for the shuddering, stalling, overheat for no reason with system shut off,etc . At take-off from driveway, highway metering lights, lighted signals,& stop signs the car(automatic transmission)will either shudder and bounce like a manual transmission not properly shifted or initially roll slightly and then stall as if in neutral. The rpms will rev, but the car will not move. I have narrowly missed many rear-end accidents. I have paid well over a thousand dollars just on rental car fees while not able to drive this car. The service department refused to give me an appointment or take it in for many months because according to them they did not have the required parts. On other attempts they would tell me they did not have the code pop up that anything was wrong. August 2017, after the dealership had my car for multiple days when promised back same or next day, they told me there was nothing wrong & I showed them a picture I took of the control panel, then they finally took it back to work on. I also had the check engine light on & shuddering immediately when picking it up from service. I was told there was nothing more they could do and they refused to put why I brought it in for in the work orders each time I brought it in. Nov 7-Dec 5 2017,they had the car for an entire month. Service told the Ford facilitator & me that there was nothing wrong with the car no shuddering, no sounds. After almost an entire month they suddenly decided the car needed a full brake job which did nothing for the shuddering/stalling. They also let the battery die. Ford motor company refused buybacks because the work orders did not say why it was brought in. I told them I would have an accident. I was trying to leave my driveway. The car stalled and the front of my car was slammed into by an SUV.
Car sputters, hesitates, makes clinking noises when accelerating. Entire front end including steering wheel shakes and vehicle hestitates when given gas. When stopped car randomly idles without using gas pedal, even completely loses power as if out of gas requiring car to be restarted. Engine also shifts gears late in rpm sequence. I have already paid for out of pocket the issue related to the gas cyclinder which is the open recall and these problems continue to persist. Problem has persisnted every day since date selected whihc is when I purchased vehicle.
The brake pedal depressed all the way to the floor but deceleration was significantly delayed. The steering shuddered and the car jerked from side to side. Front end shuddered repeatedly.
The contact stated that a 2015 Ford Focus was rented from enterprise rental car. When the vehicle was placed in the drive position and the accelerator pedal was depressed, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that the vehicle would vibrate uncontrollably. The contact was informed by enterprise rental car that the transmission was replaced and stated that the vehicle normally operated in that manner. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 28,440.
My Focus has issues shifting (jerks and revs high rpms when taking off) and rolling back at intersections on an incline. I have had the car into the local Ford dealer three times, once they "reprogrammed" the automatic transmission controller and one of the other times they replaced the clutch pack. The third time they told me this was normal operation. Before the clutch pack was replaced the vehicle made severe grinding noses like metal on metal. This was while driving at slow speeds in a parking lot.
