Engine Funny Noise Problems of Ford Focus

My Ford Focus had two separate mechanics look at it before purchasing pess than one year ago. Passed all inspections car was fine and then all of a sudden wouldnt start at all. Altenator and battery checked. To start car, I had to take extension cord from house to car to use a battery charger. I could drive it from place to place but could not turn car off bc it not starting again. I drove like this for two months. No warning lights, no weird sounds. I tried replacing battery and problem continued. Replaced battery. Was driving and in the middle of an intersection, car wouldnt go. Almost was hit. Cars had to swerve to miss me. Was in an accident when car wouldnt accelerate quickly at. Light. Hit from behind and passenger had to be taken by ambulance. Received two recall letters in the mail. One regarding emissions and one regarding the clutch. When I tried to back car out of lot, wouldnt go in reverse. Then the trans light came on with the check engine light. We pushed it out of spot an it drove until I tried to accelerate, car wouldnt go. Car had all tuneups, oil changes,all maintenance routinely done. When speaking with university Ford on a recorded convo, told me the recall effected my car & that they installed a new trans module but the trans itself had to be replaced. Qupted 7,000$. Warranty according to Ford is for clutch problem. Then why replace trans module? told me to call customer service. Told me to make claim &get a trans extended coverage claim. I've called but haven't heard back. Now ihave car at dealership dont have 7,000$ or $ to even tow it away from there. I'm on disability and having severe medical problems & a7 yr old with special needs eoth limited resources. For a company that stands american values, they fall short. Very angry. (should've bought a chevy).

The vehicle had a recall done 8 months ago and recently the same problems of the recall such as the gas tank issue and the transmission issues are still a problem n went to Ford n told what happened and they didn't do anything about it but just 2 weeks ago before I took it to Ford on a Friday night I was driving n my car shut off as I was on a busy road cars passing me by my car just shut off and I pushed the car to the side stressed because I didn't have money for a tow truck and I didn't know what was wrong until someone said try putting gas in it and I told them my tank was half and gas monitor said I had 140 miles to go before it's empty but when the gas was put in the car it turned on and the gas monitor showed 0 then it went up to 260 and the other issue is the transmission when I'm driving the car starts to jerk and stalls and when I come to a stop my rpm just goes up as if I'm stepping on the acceleration but when I let go of the brake the rpm drops n the goes sound less as if it's going to turn off then it jerks n drives this is a serious issue a couple of times I almost got hit from the back and while driving this car has turned off or jerks and makes weird noises and I only have 61k mileage on it something has to be wrong.

Takata recall my cars transmission light is on and a message came up saying transmission at fault. Also when I would stop completely at a stop sign or red light the car would shudder and make a weird noise. I've been have trouble turning it on, I would have to jump start it every now and then.

We have a 2012 Focus. From day 1, we have had problems with the battery going dead, within just a day. We have had it in numerous dealerships, with no resolve of the problem. After having had enough, we took it to a specialist who hooked it up to a diagnostic machine. The problem was the stereo system draining the battery. But we felt it wasn't our responsibility to have to pay for a new stereo, so we just had it disconnected. Fixed the problem. But the check engine light never goes off. And now it's making a funny noise in the engine and when you come to a stop and accelerate, it sometimes acts like it wants to cut off. I feel like Ford ought to replace the stereo free. We have had it in on other numerous occasions for other problems too. Had to have a new dash twice!.

Transmission is overheating; light comes on while in stop and go traffic. The car shifts harshly, makes gurgling noises, hesitates and jerks. Roaring and clunking coming from engine when starting the vehicle and when vehicle is running.

The vehicle was making a thumping noise at 35 mph, started over weekend, the engine mount cracked and engine dropped from the vehicle while it was in motion. Was going 40 mph, and had only 58,000. Dealer looked at it ,and said it wasn't under recall. The pressure of the engine breaking. Also broke the axle.
