My vehicle engine completely stopped on its own and the vehicle indicators showed that the engine overheated. This was after less than 10 minutes on the freeway going 55 mph. This vehicle has a software related recall for it as well currently. I towed the vehicle to autonation Ford of miami to be serviced for the recall and for the engine trouble(it only has 26,000 miles) and they informed me that they were not willing to look at the vehicle to even offer a diagnosis for at least 2-3 days. They did not offer a loaner vehicle or any mode of transportation in the interim. This is unacceptable behavior, especially for a vehicle under recall. This issue has occurred twice at this dealership with my two Ford vehicles.

Takata recall, my car just starts to lose break fluid real quick and now the engine has been over heating for the past couple days and it has started off of know where. I've been keeping up with the maintenance and it has been messing up lately. It's a practally brand new car with very low mileage I've had it for 7 months and it's been giving me a lot of problems.

Engine overheated at 56478 miles with no warning 1. 0 liter three cylinder. Driving 70 mph and temp gages went into red without any advanced warning pulled over.
While driving locally at speeds lower than 40mph or even staying idle while using ac the engine starts to overheat and an alert pops up on the dash stating that the engine has overheated. Once ac is turned off temperature returns to normal and no issues remain. No overheating has occurred while on highway as of yet.

The engine overheats for no reason and as a result the car shuts off. Took the car to Ford and was told due to it being a dual clutch transmission there is nothing under the hood to cool the engine down and to just put the hood up for 20 minutes and it is fine. This has happened 3 times now in stop and go traffic.

My 2014 Ford Focus hatchback has had concerning safety issues due to the dual-clutch automatic transmission since I bough the car brand new in January 2015. When I try to accelerate driving down the street and on the highway my car lurches multiple times and I'm unable to accelerate. This has almost caused many car accidents and terrifies me every time I drive. The lurching has also loosened parts of my car and feels like parts of my car could fall off at anytime. My engine also has issues and I've had to stop on the side of the road at least twice now due to the engine overheating. I have never felt safe driving this car. I've taken it into the dealership many times since the first week I bought the car complaining about the transmission and the employees kept telling me that they couldn't do anything about it. I never would have purchased this car if I had known about these issues and I will never purchase a Ford car again.
Stalling, hesitation, engine overheats without warning(inside temp. Guage stays in safe levels) .
