I had started my car one morning and noticed some "dummy" lights had not gone off. I then got a notice about "hill side assist not available" that was weird as I was on a flat surface. Then I also got a notification that said "service advancetrak". The warning lamps that stayed illuminated are abs, front airbag, stability control, and stability control off lights. While I drove off, the steering was affected as well, it wasn't like I had no power steering, but it was definately more difficult to steer. I got to work, called the dealer, made an appointment for my car to be looked at. Which was thenext day. When I went back to my car after work, the warning lights and notifications did not appear. The next day, went to the car, going to work, all the lights appeared again. Car went to the shop and was told the speed sensor and hub need to be replaced. The total cost is $635. 00 for repairs. I have seen lots of complaints of this sort for my year of car. I believe a recall should be issued.

Vehicle in motion. After 40mph, service advancetrac lights on dash. Abs is activated even though on dry ground. Brake pedal becomes hard and drops about 50%. Stopping distance dramatically increased. Pedal pulsates under my foot. Traction control turned off. Hill assist turned off. This continues to happen every time I drive the car since mid November, 2018. The defective part is the tone ring, which is part of the wheel bearing and is very expensive to repair. Ford will do nothing about it even though there is no problem at all with the tone ring. The electrical problem is the harness that the wheel speed sensor plugs into on the left front wheel. The yellow wire has a hole in it and corrodes. Ford is also aware of this problem but refuses to do anything about it.

When driving car & using brakes pedal will go part way to floor without having any brakes work & dash warning lights will come on that include hill star assist , check rear park aid, service advance trac, abs light & air bag light. . . I have had complete brake failure twice at slow speed so was able to coast car to a stop without having possibly a serious accident. I have had car at 2 dealerships trying to get car fixed. . . They have replaced brake lines & speed sensor with no good results. They will write down on work order that customer states this is a problem & that they will test drive it & be unable to verify concern . Thus returning car to me. I bought car with approximately 23,000 miles & now at 87,000 with problem happening every time I drive it. Also having other problems with car but this one is very serious.

While going in reverse down an incline all the dash lights turn on and steering locks up. This also happens when turning and braking at the same time. On the city streets is when it was first notice. After having the dealer computer read out and my repair shop read out both said the same thing. This repair had to be made. Right front passenger side wheel abs sensor and harness and had to remove and replace the wheel speed abs sensor and harness. I have uploaded all repair/bill and diagnostics on this 2015 car. No recalls for this problem have been reported to the maker as of yet. And I have called the maker of this car's customer service dept and also on line to the facebook website and have filed a report.

Wear or corrosion on the front speed sensor hardness led to the disabling of all traction/stability control, rear park assist, abs and airbag operation.
