The contact called apple Ford in red lion at 717-244-7677 (3250 cape horn rd, red lion, PA 17356) where it was confirmed that the parts were not available. Takata recall - after receiving notification about the faulty airbag psan inflators made by takata corporation in 2016, I am still awaiting a replacement from Ford motor company as of January 2018. The resolution time is unacceptable and puts me and my vehicle occupants at risk for injury or death. I have contacted Ford on numerous occasions to receive an update, but am told parts are unavailable and may become available in spring 2018. My major complaint is the time to resolve the issue and the risk that takata and Ford have placed me and my family in by not resolving the issue in an expedient manner. I would like the NHTSA to explore options with Ford for them to issue me a safe method of similar and acceptable transportation while we continue to wait. Two years for resolution is too long. I look forward to your prompt reply.

Takata recall. I have been notified by Ford motor company that my car has an air bag inflator that is dangerous and I should not drive the car with a passenger and they do not have repair parts available. This places an unacceptable hardship that has no projected resolution time frame.
Takata inflators. Got a notice for a recall on airbags for my car. There is still no remedy to fix it and they said not to have anyone in front passenger seat. How am I supposed to drive my car with no front passengers. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed ASAP or they can make my car payment or get me a new car that I can drive with my family in.

2008 Fusion - vehicle identification number (VIN): 3fahp07z18r236595 I am instructed by the first letter by Ford in July 2016 and the postcard by tk holdings that the repair and replacement is free of charge and carried out by my dealer and I should approach my dealer, and I have approached my dealer several times throughout 2016 and 2017 but my dealer has not replaced and repaired the airbag because they/Ford says no parts are available so far. I received a letter on July 2016, from Ford motor company, po box 1904, dearborn, michigan 48121 and the letter states and reads important safety recall - safety recall notice 16s26 / NHTSA recal 16v-384 on your vehicle the passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture. I have seen so often my dealer here in carlisle family Ford but they always tell me that Ford does not have spare parts to repair the faulty airbag. We have now November 2017 and I got a postcard that tk holdings inc has files chapter 11. They are responsible for the faulty airbag. I showed my dealer family Ford in carlisle the postcard and my dealer is telling me that they are aware of tk holdings inc and that tk holdings inc has filed chapter 11 bankruptcy , but no parts are available at this time to replace and repair my faulty airbag. My dealer is also telling me that I have to keep waiting and when sometime in the near future the parts are available they/Ford will send me another letter. So far Ford is not replacing and repairing the faulty airbag. I just wonder when they/Ford will replace and repair the faulty airbag in my car. Sincerely, juergen bachmann.
Takata recall I was informed by mail of the air bag inflator recall in March 2017. As of November 22, 2017, replacement parts have not been made available to my local Ford dealership.

Takata inflators- the cover to my passenger side air bag is warped and partially exposing the airbag. I am unable to transport another passenger for fear of it exploding. In addition, the dashboard light for my driver ride airbag will not turn off.
Takata recall I have yet to receive a repair or notice of parts available to repair the defective psan inflators on my vehicle. I have contacted multiple Ford dealerships and Ford corporate regarding the takata airbags, but I get nowhere with either one of them regarding when a fix is available and why parts are unavailable. I would like to formally submit a complaint to Ford due to their unacceptable service with regards to how long the process is taking. Airbag recalls should not take multiple years to resolve, it should be of the highest priority; and it appears that Ford does not think that is the case.
Takata recall - airbag inflator - we received notice January 2017 that our airbag needed replaced, we still do not have it replaced, no remedy to the situation yet!.

Takata inflators: its been since July 2016 I was first notified there was a recall on the air bags. I called again today because of the legal notice mailed to me by t^k holding inc that if I don't file a claim by Dec 27, 2017 or may be barred from damaged caused by the air bags. I have called again today 11/8/2017 to get a appointment to have a new airbag installed. They do not have any now and have not had any bags in the last year and have no idea when they will get the bags in to replace the recalled ones. . Can you help them with their dealer to get this moved along and get the airbags repaired before we lose a life or have bodily injury from the old ones. This is a Ford dealership in san jose, CA.
I just learned of a recall due to the takata airbag inflator on this vehicle. I called my local Ford dealership and was told that Ford does not yet have parts for this recall, even though the recall was issued in January of this year, so I have to wait until Ford takes action. Is this accurate?.
Takata inflators. I received a card in the mail that said my car was under a recall alert. I called several repair shops in my area as instructed on the takata recall page online and was told the replacement airbags weren't available anywhere. Takata recall. In January 2017 I received a recall notice from Ford stating that my 2012 Ford Fusion had a recall repair/replacement due. The part to be replaced was a takata inflator on the passenger side that could cause injury or death to the occupants. Repeated phone calls and visits from January through October 2017 to two of my local Ford dealers resulted in repeated denials of replacement due to "we don't have the parts" and "some time next year" (2018). It has now been 10 months that I have been driving a potentially lethal vehicle.
Takata recall. I was contacted over a year ago that my airbag inflator needed to be replaced. I was put on a wait list for this part to become available. I called my dealership again today, and I was told that the parts are still not available. The dealership told me that they do not know when the part will be available, and it will honestly, probably never get fixed because takata has filed bankruptcy! I live in louisiana, which is a high priority state due to our hot and humid weather. I find Ford's handling of this dangerous problem to be completely unacceptable! my family / children drive around in this car, and now, we are actually in more danger if we do get into an accident!.
Takata inflators. After receiving notice of recall in March, 2017 on a 2007 Ford Fusion, no other notice of service or required action was given until legal notice of takata chapter 11 bankruptcy was sent. Still waiting for recovery for repair of faulty parts. Risk of injury is the reason for the complaint; the risk of injury isn't being compensated in any way waiting for proper repairs.

Takata recall. Vehicle was stationary. I received a recall notice June 2016 from Ford saying the passenger frontal airbag inflator could rupture if the vehicle is involved in a crash. I still have not received a replacement airbag for the passenger side and it has been well over a year. I made an appointment to see the Ford dealer and went to the Ford dealer November 1, 2017, and spoke to a female to have them look at my Ford Fusion 2009 car as the air bag on the passenger side is trying to come out from the dashboard, and we have not even had a car accident/crash. She told me that they still didn't have the replacement airbags which I already knew. I wanted them to look at the passenger side of the dashboard to see that the airbag was coming out of the dashboard which I think is dangerous as I was told by another male over the phone previously that it was dangerous and that I should make an appointment to have it checked out. They would not even look at the car. I had to tape down the area on the dashboard where the airbag is trying to come out of the dashboard. They wasted my time coming to see them and they knew what the situation was about as my wife had explained it to them over the phone when she made the appointment for me.
Takata recall my car is one that is in the recall of the takata airbag inflators and I would like to get it fixed.
Takata recall my vehicle contains a defective airbag inflator and has been under recall for several years.
Takata recall. I received written notice from Ford in March 2017 that "frontal air bag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment. A ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death. . . " I called Ford company today 10/31/17 (8 months after the initial notice which I took very seriously) and was told by the Ford representative that they have no date for when the parts for the remedy would be available. So Ford has told me that me and my wife could suffer serious injury or death in the event that the airbag is deployed and there is no timeframe for resolving this very serious deficiency. Please tell me what action is being taken to make Ford be more responsive.
Takata recall. I had received notice of my airbag inflator being recalled on January 10th, 2017. It is October 31st, 2017 and Ford is still unable to change out my inflator and make it safe to drive. This airbag inflator needs to be replaced in a more timely manner to prevent possible injury. Thank you.
