Back up camera working intermittently. If I shake the wires in the trunk it will work. I purchased this car in November and immediately received a recall notice from Ford for the back up camera. I scheduled the car in for the recall and dropped it off to be repaired. I was notified from the dealer that the car was ready to go and picked it up. Immediately I noticed that the camera was still not working. The dealer said that the recall was to check and see if the recall was completed. (does that really make any sense?). They said another dealer had completed the recall so their work was done. So I have a car that had a recall but now it does not as they say they have completed it but in reality, the original recall item is still not working.

Vehicle's engine power has cut off both while driving and upon turning ignition off to where nothing electrical is operable including display to dome lights. Car has self reset anywhere from 2 min up to 25 min car is disabled and could result in injury if driving in an unsafe area with other obstacles and(or) traffic. Unknown of dealer was able to replicate. Pcm was refreshed after checking car for error codes. Check engine light did show a total of 2 time out if the estimated dozen occur ancestors like this.
As I proceeded to get over on a highway with cars speeding, my car would not allow me to move over because it would not accerlate to be safe and my car slowed down as if there was no power as I had to get to the side of the highway to avoid getting hit as cars were traveling at a high rate of speed. My car then stopped and I was forced to move into the grass to avoid getting hit and causing a wreck. The speed limit was 80 mph and I was traveling at 72 mph. As I try to increase my speed but the car seemed it did not have enough power. The next day I called to report it and take it to the shop, I was informed to not drive the car for my safety. The diagnosis was that one of the fuel lines stopped working and the control module was a recall. My niece and myself was put in danger as well as the emotional fear to drive the car. This occured on June on June the 20th and the car was picked up on June the 24th. It was a recall issue. I was told by Ford corporation that because it was fixed and I was safe then the matter was closed. Next incident, I reported that my lights and radio keep going off and then dimmed. I was driving, and had no lights at certain times at night. As I passed a non-lited highway, I could not see the direction I was traveling. During a rain storm at night, I had it continued to dim then go dark then back on. This was also another recall. I was advise that it was fixed so I had recourse against the manfualted Ford corporation. At 16,000 miles, the tires had no tread because the same tires have been recalled. This stopped my ability to drively safe and advoid stopping when needed. There were other issues, the car was taken in. There is a current recall that the is no remedy, that I could lose sterring and the wheel will cause a crash. I am one of the 30,000 Mustang that are having safety problems and are in the risk of crashes. I am in fear of driving the car, was denied of a buy back insure that I am not in danger.

Ford motor company has an issue with their 2024 Ford Mustang convertibles, where condensation forms in the footwell ducts during air conditioner operation. As condensation accumulates, water drips onto the driver's foot and potentially the gas and/or brake pedal, creating a risk of driver error. This issue has been known since the vehicle's delivery nearly two years ago. Ford has acknowledged the problem but has not provided a resolution, stating that this occurrence is "expected. " some additional drivers are also experiencing this: [xxx] [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
Brake lights don’t function brake switch bumper broke off and lights stay on but not bright when brake is depressed. Loss of power random misfire cut from loss of power. Brake switch fault in computer.

I had a back up camera recall done, and several months later, the exact same problems happened. Exactly the same symptoms and results. When shifting into reverse, the camera, in more than 50% of the time, the camera fails, just like before the first recall. The dealer says one fix per recall, and if I want it fixed now, it will be $400. It is a defect and should be fixed properly, not the sloppy fix done previously.
In the morning when I start the car, I have a blank digital instrumentation screen. No way to tell how fast you are driving or how much gas you have and no warning lights. Sometimes it will take over an hour to come back on. Took it to a Ford dealership and they said they could not duplicate the problem, but a service bulletin was out on is problem was out on this to make sure software was up to date. My car is up to date, and I was told Ford was working on the problem if that did not correct it with a time frame of October 2025. I think this is a real safety concern how do they expect me to drive a car with no warning display or knowing how fast I'm driving for a whole year.
The main display on vehicle providing speed, gas level, mileage and all gauges and vehicle information and notifications has gone completely black. Screen has not been able to turn back on after troubleshooting with Ford. Dealerships have been booked up for a week or two in a 2 state radius and Ford has denied to provide a loner vehicle so I am stuck driving without knowing how much gas or how fast I’m going.
Backup camera fails after recall repair is performed.
The contact's husband owns a 2015 Ford Mustang. The contact while reversing, the rearview camera image was distorted and black. The contact stated that the failure had increased, causing the rearview camera to become inoperable. Additionally, the contact stated that the tailgate had failed to open while using the key fob, while pressing the tailgate release switch inside the cabin and the release button on the decklid. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the decklid wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 22v082000 (back over prevention) because the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was approximately 42,000.
Windows started fogging up when driving. Turned on ac to resolve and no cold air came out resulting a dangerous driving condition trying to see through condensation. Took vehicle to the dealer and found the cause was yet another leaking ac evaporator coil as several others have reported. Concerning to know there were toxic chemicals leaking in the vehicle. Dealer quoted at $3,000 to replace. Ford has changed manufacturers of this part due to widespread failure of the original equipment. Why is it on the vehicle owners to pay and replace this known faulty part which causes a safety issue?.
The contact owns a 2017 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the front passenger's side window unintendedly opened and closed. The contact stated that the failure had occurred on several occasions. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle remained at the residence. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.

I am dealing with Ford on two brand new Mustangs. That are both failing electrically and they claim they have fixed yet haven’t and still exhibiting gross safety concerns. This is simply large scale negligence. Both Mustangs screens have and are randomly blacking out creating massive safety concern when no guages or functions are present. I’ve contacted them and a. Insider has given me a document showing that they know and have no answers. And for this. Is gross negligence. I demand replacements. Both problems have cause financial damages. And also psychological trauma due to prior car wreck where dash blacked out. This is a known issue and I demand answers.
The radio screen which controls the back up camera climate control, and everything else has gone black and only turns on once every few weeks, when car is turned off it does not come back on. After a diagnostic test done at yark Ford they recommended a apim module and this would run $1412. 70 + tax. After throughly investing this on the internet this is a common problem with this year and model. Ford should offer a recall!!.

Abs light came on, sometimes when braking/slowing down at freeway speeds, the brakes won't catch and it feels like I'm going to ram into the cars ahead, I've replaced the rotors, the calipers, the brakes, the wheel bearings, abs light won't go away, I've looked into it on the bullitt community forums, and this is a common problem that most just decide to live with, cause no solution has been found.

Transmission seems to lose power while driving, the car will barely pull itself but the rpms increase if I accelerate. This has happened several times while driving and occasionally there are dash lights lighting and speedometer/gas gauge doesn’t work but that doesn’t happen every time. When it happens I pull over and shut it down and restart and it runs correctly until it happens again! I do a lot of highway driving and the car just “falling flat” on a multi-lane highway at 70+ mph is definitely a safety issue! I have taken it to my local fastlane shop and the car was driven but didn’t malfunction at that time. He advised me to try to drive it there if it happened again, but I have never been close to the shop at the times it happens or they are closed. There is no advance warning, it happens at various speeds and even on takeoff after stopping for traffic lights. I once was pulling into traffic when it happened and didn’t have enough power to get to my lane before it fell flat! fortunately I could back up before getting hit by oncoming traffic.

I visited the [xxx] in greensboro, nc on [xxx], was inside the y for around five minutes, and when I came out and got back to my car, the car would not start, the battery was completely dead. I called usaa road service, they came and said I had a very discharged battery. They helped me get the car started, and I got home ok. I do not know what caused the battery to fail. After the battery failed, it was inspected on July 9, 2024 by green Ford in greensboro, and then replaced by the Ford dealer. My safety was at risk because the dealer said the faulty battery probably was responsible for an accelerator problem I am experiencing (detailed in NHTSA complaint number 11619861) and a brake failure which I experienced (detailed in NHTSA complaint number 11619933). The Ford dealer that said the battery was defective, and as I said, replaced it (under the car's warranty). There was no warning that the battery would fail, and I do not know why it failed, and had no reason to believe it would fail. If the Ford dealer kept the failed battery, and still has it, it should be available for inspection upon request. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
- the light of the airbag and seatbelt came on my dashboard, went to the dealership and they told me that there's an issue with the control module, apparently there is a recall for that but since my car wasn't called they could repair. - backup camera goes completely off when trying to go on reverse.
A plastic clip ("brake pedal bumper") broke and fell out of place, causing the brake pedal to no longer reach the brake light switch. The brake lights now remain illuminated permanently, even with the brakes released. This also caused the engine and transmission to go into "limp mode", the engine no longer revving over 2,000 rpm, the transmission not shifting, and hill-start assist and traction control no longer working, making the car unsafe to drive. The brake lights will remain on even when the car is completely shut off and locked, draining and damaging the battery. It is my understanding that this is a known issue, and there was a recall for this in certain states. (safety recall 22s02, regional recall 22r01). There should be a national recall for this, as the affected part appears to be of low quality, and causes safety issues when it fails, with the car's drivability and lighting affected.
Backup camera malfunctioning, took vehicle into dealership 1 to have it repaired under recall. Camera still malfunctioning after 2 visits to dealer, was told I was going to get charged diagnostics fee if taken back. Year later, took it to dealship 2 to have it looked at again. Dealership found nicked wire from initial repair as stated in repair order, but problem still persists and now being charged a diagnostics fee as Ford refuses to fix problem.
The instrument panel goes blank. No way to tell how fast you are driving and no way to see warning lights. Ford has now had the car for over two months now with no solution.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving 70 mph, the instrument panel blacked out, disabling all electrical systems. The driving assist, speedometer, a/c and other electrical systems all failed to operate as needed. The contact was able to coast to the side of the roadway and turned the vehicle off for several minutes. The vehicle was restarted; however, the failure was not self-corrected. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and the failure was linked to NHTSA campaign number: 22v382000 (power train) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,000.
While driving at about 75mph the passenger door unlocked and opened by itself. We got an door not closed warning light on the dash and the warning chime in addition the horn was blowing in intervals of 2 quick beeps and repeated until we were able to pull over and reclose the door. About 1 hour later same conditions the same thing happened on the drivers side. We have since discovered from the dealer that here is a campaign number of 21n10 for this issue. Holiman Ford of maple shade NJ took the car in right away.
Third tail light and rear tail lights remained illuminated after the car was turned off. Driver discovered the brake light switch (rubber/plastic piece) had crumbled into the floor board preventing the tail lights from turning off, thus, becoming a hazard to other motorists on the road as the tail lights remained illuminated even while driving. While the vehicle was being driven, the driver could not accelerate to the appropriate speeds as the car was "thinking" the brakes were being applied and could only approximately drive at 40-50 mph. The vehicle has been inspected and the above information was confirmed as the issue. No other warnings/messages occurred prior to the piece breaking.
This is the 3rd recall no counting issue that did no include recall. One of the fuel injectors stop working and caused my car to stop while running. Without warning of fuel injector not working, my car would be hestiate to accerate and when I got the warning, I was informed to not drive the car because it would cause a wreck or without warning stop. My alert went off that my air quality inside the car was dangerous and to return the vechicle ASAP to ensure my safety. I have had my car in the dealership 6 times and one of the recalls can not be fixed at this time which causes my steering system to turn opposite directions and warned that it was in danger of wrecking. Not only does the problems could harm myself but as well as innocent drivers on the road. I have been with Ford since 2006 and never have I experienced such suffering. I am a teacher and not having transporation or taking off of work has cost me over 2000. 00 and I havent even had my a year when the issues staring happening. Ford corporation will not ensure my safety under the lemon law, and I have had to go without the ability to support myself as well as my elderly mother. I was involved in a wreck 4 days after the car was a year old and was found at fault as I tried to stop, it car inch up by by 2 feet. I had to pay two thousand for a deductible and then my insurance was charged for used parts on my car. Ford corporation ask me not to contact my insurance but informed me that they are no a direct car repair shop but it is represent as a collosion center with the Ford name. My tires were not driveable at 21, 000 miles but was told that they were suppose to last 26, 000 miles. They were provided from Ford itself. They then put recalled tires on the car which cause me to lose traction and I could not even get them rotated with a mileage under 21,000. Currently my car has 26,000 miles and I have been put at risk on many malfunction of the car.
Backup camara is not working.
While driving on the interstate the steering control module stopped working resulting in total loss of no power steering assist. Vehicle only has 1,4711 miles. Second time this incident has occurred. Major hazardous malfunction of control module possible resulting in a accident. No warning was give on dashboard indicator. This vehicle is a hazard on roadways and putting other drivers and citizens at risk of serious bodily injury. Vehicle should not this problem with the current miles. Contacted Ford motors corp. Refuse to acknowledge my safety concerns and refuse reimbursement for repairs. This will happen to other Ford and will result in possible injuries or deaths.

Attempted to start the vehicle and heard some sort of noise and nothing happened. Vehicle engine would not turned over or attempt to start. Received a message on the display stating steering lock malfunction. Service now. I found a response from the NHTSA stating how to correct the issue. This only applied to the 2020 model. However, this corrected my issue.
Back up camera recall was unresolved by previous owner. I’ve tried fixing the issue myself but cannot find it. The camera displays blue and black screens while in reverse.
Rear back up camera malfunction (not detected). Vehicle is available for inspection. Safety put at risk, because unable to see the rear that is meant to be covered by the camera. Can cause an accident. Issue has been confirmed via dealer that is a recall under Ford. Ford notice states harness and camera covered to be replaced. Went to Ford dealer, states harness replaced and working. Now camera does not work at all. Went to Ford again, they replaced the harness, but state camera is not covered by recall. Inspected by Ford. No warning messages, just message that camera is not available now.
