Tire Valve Problems of Ford Ranger

I was driving my 2007 Ford range with only 12,920 miles on it when my right front tire suddenly lost air. This caused the vehicle to slide sideways on the snowy road. I was able to regain control because no other cars were around. When the tire was inspected the cause of the sudden deflation was determined to be a severed tire valve stem. The rest of the tire valves were inspected and 2 more valves were found cracked severely. These were original valves and tires installed by Ford at the factory.

The contact owns a 2004 Ford Ranger. The vehicle has four michelin xc lt4 tires, size 225/70r15. While driving 15 mph, the contact heard a thumping sound.
