The vehicle hydro planed while making a right turn at 40 mph on a wet road. As a result the consumer lost control of the vehicle, and impacted a guard rail head on. Upon impact, none of the frontal air bags deployed. The consumer sustained serious thumb injuries when it came in contact with the steering wheel, and required surgery. The vehicle was totaled.

Consumer states vehicle was involved in a frontal collision of 35-40 mph and neither air bag deployed. Nlm the vehicle was totalled. The seat belt failed to restrain the driver from hitting the steering wheel during the accident. The driver was injured.

Tires hydroplaned causing car to become uncontrollable and spinning the car head into a guardrail, where the airbags (drivers and passengers) failed to deploy. (tiresize: p215/60r16).

Consumer was traveling about 65mph on the highway and another vehicle merged into his lane. Both vehicles collided, and consumer's vehicle was forced into guardrail. Upon impact, dual airbags didn't deploy.

Failure of air bag deployment in 2001 Ford Taurus. This was a high speed crash where the consumer could not control the vehicle and impacted a concrete bridge rail. When the consumer first took possession of the vehicle, it had a bad shimmy in the front end when the brakes were applied. The dealer found the rotors were warped, a few days after the rotors were replaced the rear end of the vehicle fish tailed, the dealer then discovered the rear drums were not round and had to be replaced. Months later the vehicle fish tailed again and the tires had to be replaced.

While driving, driver and passenger air bags deployed on their own. The air bag deployment caused injuries and broke the windshield. It also damaged the sunviser and mirror.

While driving approximately 30 mph, both frontal air bags deployed unexpectedly. Driver was hit in the stomach and required surgery to correct internal injuries. Dealership has not examined vehicle to determine reason for unexpected deployment. Please provide any additional information / documentation.

While traveling in a rain storm at 25 mph vehicle in front suddenly stopped, and consumer's vehicle rear ended the other vehicle. Upon impact, none of the airbags deployed.

No determination has been made for the reason of failure. Driver experienced severe bruises, and was having difficulty breathing. She was hospitalized. While driving at 40-45mph at night tme on dry roads consumer lost control, going to fast around a curve. Consumer hit a tree, and airbags didn't deploy. Consumer's right arm was broken, and vehicle was totaled.

Vehicle was involved in a 25-30 mph frontal collision in which driver and passenger air bags deployed, causing occupant of passenger seat to receive injuires to eyes and face. Air bag deployed and blow up failing to hold air keeping the passenger safe.

Consumer was stopping at a red light and another vehicle hit it head-on. Upon impact, front airbag didn't deploy. Consumer was injured. Dealer consulted owner's manual to find specifications on how airbag deployed. Four people were injured in accident.

While traveling at 45 mph,another car ran driver off the road and hit curve on front left tire. Airbag went off, but not when curve was hit, but a couple of seconds later.

While on interstate and coming off an exit ramp consumer lost consciousness and hit a guardrair, and a tree on the front passenger side of vehicle. Upon impact, none of airbags deployed.

Auto totaled, the air bags didn't deploy. The consumer was involved in a hit and run accident and he loss control of the vehilce.

While driving over bumps driver's airbag deployed. Dealer has inspected vehicle. Manufacturer has been notified.

The accident was at a very low speed (~15 mph) and more damage and injury was caused by the air bags than by the crash. Only the front bumper of the car was damaged by the crash, yet the air bag shatterd the windshild and blew out the passenger side window. The driver and passenger suffered hearing loss, facial burns and glass cuts from the airbag deployment.

Consumer was changing lanes and there was another car coming up on the side. Consumer cot control. Tried to straighten up and went into center divider. Bounced 15 feet, and back of car landed against center divider. Consumer/ passenger were wearing seatbelts. Airbags could have prevented the injuries they sustained. Consumer said it was just a service lender while getting there car repaired.

During bad weather conditions (rain mixed with snow) driver applied brakes & vehicle would not slow down, causing loss of control which resulted in ancollision. Upon impact, both airbags did no deploy which could have caused injury. Also, steering failure.

Consumer was driving vehicle when another vehicle jumped in front of her. Upon applying the brakes, she hit the car from behind, and airbags didn't deploy at all.

Consumer was driving and coming out of the parking lot when another vehicle hit him it from the left side on the passenger's side. Airbag went off in driver's face. The left side of his face became numb, and his glasses blew off of his face and broke. Also, and burn marks are on his face.

Consumer was driving down a highway she didn't hit anything, but the airbags deployed and dropped out.

While driving out of the neighborhood to a service road, made a left hand turn and tire rod broke, vehicle veered off to the right and hit a concrete power line. Upon impact, airbags didn't deploy on either side. Contacted the local mechanic, and was told that the vehicle had been in an accident before. Contacted the dealer.
