The abs light stayed on after the fact I had the breaks serviced a few years ago. The airbag light has been on for about a year. Now my break light stopped working, I replaced the fuse and still not working and now the headlamps stopped working. They only work on high beam.

The dash cluster does not work correctly, all the lights turn on and doors lock while I am driving on in town or on the highway , all the gauges come on at once while driving on the streets at random times. . The rear has airbags in the suspension and and aren't working properly, I took it to the shop and they said it had 30 codes on the diagnostic machine but they couldn't find the problem.

Vehicle was stationary. Envoy slt has sun/moon roof. Water on driver & passenger floor. Water running out from under steering wheel from under dashboard. Very concern about electrical damage & problems. Watched some utube videos showing trouble with drain holes(4) from sun/moon roof become clogged with debrie.
The gas gauge stays on empty when there is a full tank of gas. There rear windshield wiper comes on by itself. The radio plays like it is in a tin box. Every so often it will play normal. But most of the time it doesn't. This happens when it is moving or in park.

My 2005 GMC Envoy xl has the same recalled master window switch units as other recalls, both sides front driver and passenger doors burnt with a bad smell as I was driving. Why? why is my vehicle not included in the recall when everything is the same as other recalled vehicles ?? I was driving on the parkway when I noticed a burning smell with nowhere to pull over for a few miles in great panic with cars going past me at 65 mph plus as I was being cautious to get to an exit so I could figure out what the problem was. It was the door switch so I lifted it out of the door and unplugged it so I could continue my trip. Scary situation . Plus my mechanic can't get the answer if just replacing the switch will make it work or does it need programmed into the computer ?.

SUV dies and won't start back until it cools down. I was traveling 55 mph on a five lane highway and the vehicle just died. I had the vehicle towed to the local dealer and it couldn't be diagnosed.
While driving down the highway and or while coming to a stop the engine just shuts itself off without warning. Everything in the inside stays on, but you have to put the vehicle in park and re crank. This is an extreme safety hazard and needs to be looked into.
Headlight drive module (hdm) controls both low beam headlights. This relay has failed on me twice in less than a year, at night resulting in going down the road with no lights and unable to see. Vehicle was in motion on a highway going 55 mph at night.

The third brake light connections located in the rear tailgate are severely corroded and will not light up when braking. This condition does not allow passing of state inspection. The entire brake light assembly and wire harness must to replaced to pass state vehicle inspection. This condition is continuous, when parked, when driving (we followed it around the block to see if it jiggled on), I have nothing to upload because the brake light will not light up.
The fuel gauge is not working whatsoever. It is always on empty and I cannot put any gas in the vehicle.
Hi ! as many other GMC Envoy costumer stock at the earlier 50-100 thousand milles with engine problem caused by misfire cylinder . If you guys check about this issue is extremely big and horrible thousand people a cross the country dealing with this issue . I did noticed this issue just driving , I got to stop sign and the engine starts shaking and the check engine come on , after I took to a mechanic shop for diagnostic and put about $200 dollars on spark plugs and coil and noting changed I was tell by the mechanic that it was a lower compression on the 6 cylinder so bad valve .

I've had my 2005 Envoy for a little over a year and had my headlights flash on and off while driving on the road and freway. On one occasion while driving on a two lane highway ay night the lights went out completely for a few seconds. I was so scared wss really glad for no one behind me or on coming traffic. On another occassion I had to pull over on city street as my lights were going on and off and I could see the car ahead was a cop and I didnt want him to think I was flashing for help especially at 2 in the morning. Ive also had to exit the freeway because my lights started going on and off and on and wasnt sure if they would just go out completely while I was driving and since it was night time I didnt want to take the chance of causing an accident and hurting someone else or myself. I have a teenage daughter and am afraid to transport her and her friends in my car.
Front headlights out. All other lights working.
Both headlights abruptly stopped working. Low-beam headlamps and daytime running lights did not function. While researching possible causes and solutions, I discovered a gm safety recall (no. 14291) which precisely described the problem. Upon presenting the vehicle for repairs, the servicing dealer indicated the recall did not cover my vehicle. Given no other viable options, I approved the repair, the cost of which was $278. I contend that my vehicle should have been covered under said recall and am asking NHTSA to review this matter.
The contact owns a 2007 GMC Envoy. While driving approximately 65 mph, there was a sudden loss of power and a warning indicator illuminated for limp mode. The vehicle drastically reduced speed to less than 35 mph. The contact had to slowly drive in the emergency lane. The vehicle was turned off and back on, but the limp mode failure continued. The contact was unable to drive over 35 mph. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who kept the vehicle for longer than two weeks. The dealer cleared multiple codes, but was unable to provide a solution. In addition, months later, the engine locked and failed to function. The vehicle was unable to be driven. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The VIN and failure mileage were not available.
Driver's side door panel controls not working. Includes power window, seat heater, power locks, etc. Not a fuse issue?.
Tl-the contact owns a 2002 GMC Envoy. The contact stated that they had taken in the vehicle to an independent mechanic for the electrical system draining the battery. The contact had replaced several batteries and had spoken to an unknown dealer about the issue. They wanted to charge a fee for a diagnostic test that have already done by the independent mechanic. The instrument panel possibly needed to be reprogrammed and was done by the previous owners. The failure mileage was 175,000. Tf.
As I was driving down I-75 at 10:30pm my headlights just randomly went off! I was driving approximately 70 mph and I was in an area that had no lights alongside the road. I slammed on my brakes to attempt to move to the side of the road. After I slowed enough to move over, my headlights went back on. I was so shook up, I'm not sure if my rear lights went off as well. This type of incident happened again this past weekend and I had to pull to the side of the road and actually shut off the engine and re-start my car twice before my lights went back on. Today, on my way to work, in the dark, just before I was puling into our parking lot, they went off again. I also have noticed that when I press on the automatic window buttons, my lights dim and then brighten. Another issue is the dash light for the gas cap turns on and off randomly while driving the car. In addition, my air bag light has been on for several months, does not go off and yet, it not included in the recall of the dangerous airbags going off randomly and causing accidents and injuries. All of the above issues have occurred while the vehicle was in motion. I'm not sure if these are related or not. All of the issues are very serious safety issues and need to be addressed.
Battery dying everyday. Parasitic draw from the power seat.
The contact owns a 2003 GMC Envoy. The contact stated that the power window and door controls malfunctioned. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they diagnosed that the vehicle needed a new power switch. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 155,000.
For many, many, months my low beam lights have been going out while driving. All other lights including the high beams will work. It is very unsafe to be driving at night and have your lights go out. I have taken the vehicle to several different auto shops, but they can't find anything wrong. I have seen many complaints about this issue, so I know it is the vehicle. GMC needs to do the right thing and fix this problem. If GMC won't do it on their own, the NHTSA needs to get involved and get GMC to recall these vehicles and fix this problem. This is a very serious safety issue.
While in motion only, a engine light accompanied by a reduced engine power engages making the vehicle unmanageable to response and cause the vehicle to stall.
The contact owns a 2008 GMC Envoy. The contact stated that there was a random electrical short and the low beams failed to illuminate. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic who changed the low beams, relay, switch and checked the fuses, but the low beams continued to randomly short without warning. The contact was unable to prevent the random failure. The manufacturer provided no solution. The failure mileage was not available.

Takata recall was driving home at night lost the low beams they would keep going off having me with no lights at all the high beams would work but no low beams at all driving with high beams on is not safe and can get pulled over for this I have had this before and turned it in and nothing I would like somthing done about this it is safty issue and should be taken care of by the manufactures of this car or SUV.
Campaign id 14v-755. My VIN does not fall under this campaign or gm recall. I am having this exact same issue with the low beams shutting off at night and has happened twice. Vehicle was in motion.
