GMC Envoy owners have reported 9 problems related to headlights turn off while driving (under the electrical system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1: passenger seat belt likes to suffocate my passengers until they release rhe seat belt and rebuckle. 2: both dim headlights went out, checked relays, fuses, and bulbs nothing has worked. Then found out my 2 brake lights are out along with the dims and not sure what is causing this problem.

Tl-the contact owns a 2002 GMC Envoy. The contact stated that the headlights low beam failed while driving. The contact had engage the high beam while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer a diagnostic was performed which was unable to locate a failure code. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer advised that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number 15v519000 (exterior lighting). The failure mileage was 113,000. Li.
Headlights failed causing lights to go out while driving. Only the bright lights will work. Some kind of electrical malfunction. From my research, there have been many others.
Ac plug to fan motor burnt/melt, daylight/headlight connectors melted multiple times had them replaced 3 times each side. . . Cluster/ radio/ac lights burning out lights out on different areas from illumination to gages to radio and ac control button lights head lights went out while driving so did cluster, radio and ac lights had the cluster replaced by dealer while under warranty back in 2013 over cluster shortening, had my radio replaced as well by dealer same time.

The low beam headlights go out with no warning. The high beams will work. This has become a problem everytime the vehicle is driven at night.
