I was driving in mexico last Nov 18th 2004 -Jan 1st 2005 I was driving on bumpy roads and high usage of brakes on poor roads . Abs failed and when I hit paved roads the brakes came back to like new system, then in July of this year I was driving down dirt road and went around a corner and it was like I had no brakes again I want the abs removed from all of my cars now it is a bad system . I am a trained driver I have sub contracted to kelly haze as a abs recorder for new vehicle.

Front wheel bearings failed. This caused wheels to become loose. Vehicle made a loud terrible grinding noise. Took vehicle to mechanic who indicated bearings could have sheared off. Abs brake failed. Also, u-joint failed causing grinding noise and vibration.

While attempting to stop on wet pavement abs brakes fail to release, resulting in a rear end collision.

Accident on abs failure about $2800. $850 out of my pocket for abs repair. Windshield wipers work sometimes and sometimes they dont. Mentioned windshield wiper not working to the tech at dealer. He said "we have quite a few wiper problems on that model, I expect a recall soon. " please let me know if there is anything I can do. Thank you.

Rear ended by truck which propelled vehicle into back of camper. Thus a rear end collision, immediately followed by a front end collision. Both front seat backs broke causing the driver and passenger to be violently slammed into the back seat area. The driver (only)air bag did not deploy. The abs system failed upon application of the brakes, just prior to being rear ended by the tractor trailer truck which weighed 77,000 pounds and was going approximately 75mph. The truck driver admitted to the police that he never sloed down or applied his brakes.

Brakes/abs failed on gravel and wet pavement at low mph, dealer says common nothing they can do, caused rearend collision.

Vehicle was involved in accident due to faulty brake problem. Intermittently vehicle would continue to go even after applying brakes. Received a manufacurer's recall notice on this problem, would like to know my recourse after the fact. Can NHTSA provide any information concerning this matter. The abs system failed during emergency stop.

Abs continually failing, dealer can't duplicate, repaired at least four times. Brakes grind on rough surfaces ie gravel brakes make a sound when driving down the road, I'm driving my two children around and no one will fix, or replace, or give my money back on this car. Very unsatisfied with dealer and service department and car.

Pe94038 ;abs brake system failure. The front disc brake sensor did not make warning sound to alert driver to check brake system. Therefore, one of the brake pads stuck to the brake cylinder which wore the cylinder down. Owner had problem corrected at brake shop. Owner also notified the dealer and the manufacturer about the brake problem.

The abs system has failed on the vehicle several times. When trying to bring the vehicle into a driveway for a stop the brake pedal was pressed, it went to the floor and the truck did not stop and hit a fence.

While driving on hwy rearended vehicle in front, causing multi-car collision due to abs failure, when attempting to slow/stop brakes grabbed/released and then pedal went to floor on dry pavement. One day prior, brought vehicle into dealership for mfr maintenance brake service.

Abs brake failure, when applied experienced brake lockup, and pedal went to the floor, impact 12:00 position speed 45mph,.
