1 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2010 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 11/28/2014

I have a 2010 Yukon denali with now, 42000 miles this happened in 2014 with about 39000 miles--- I dont drive but 5000 miles a year and my vehicle is kept mostly in the garage and is very well taken care of. I noticed one crack near front passenger airbag- then a few months later a newer, larger crack began forming near the drivers side dashboard over the spedometer. I have the gmpp plan which is gm's highest extended warranty and cost about $2500. They told me that my dashboard isnt covered under my gmpp warranty becuase the dash is considered "trim" ive contacted gm numerous times hoping to get a more workable csr to assist in monetary assistance with getting the dashboard replaced--- I receive little to no financial assistance after two failed attempts. This issue is widespread with these gm vehciles and should be taken care of by gm -- they know about their shortcomings and we, as a class action are limited by our options as we slowly work up to class action status. I would like a full investigation on these cracked dashboards- both why they cracked and if they knew about the issue and never tried to fix them after the fact of knowing 3144092964 adam.

2 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2015 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 11/05/2014

Vehicle has a terrible vibration. Has been to dealer 7 times, for a total of 4 weeks. A gm engineer has looked at it twice. They have replaced ring/pinion, driveshaft, axle . . Tried it with 4 sets of tires/wheels. Last idea was to replace shocks, struts, sway bars with hand built parts, cut brackets off car and weld new brackets on. When liability was brought up, they changed their story. There is a larger issue as was relayed by engineer to service manager at dealership. Issue is with all 2015 tahoe, Yukon, escalades. In an effort to prevent roll overs, they designed the frame and body mounts too stiff. There are 40 engineers working on issues, they have no solutions that work across the board. According to engineer, gm is keeping an eye on how many units they have to buy back, or trade for . . . If number is low enough, they will not make any changes to design. I would like to schedule a meeting next week to discuss this issue and the larger issue in person. Since they are refusing to buy back my vehicle, I am turning matter over to attorney.

4 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2008 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 03/04/2014

Dash board crack at left corner of airbag, can result in shrapnel or impede airbag deployment. Also a crack on the dash board at the left corner of the instrument panel happened at the same time.

5 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2008 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 01/10/2013

I have a 2008 GMC Yukon denali in which the dash board is cracked in approximately 4 places. I think this is a safety issue if I ever get in an accident and my airbags deploy. If the air bag deploys I think this dash board will also hurt someone.

6 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2007 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 02/15/2011

After taking a online safety coarse I was instructed on adjusting my outside rear view mirrors for better viewing of black views from my inside rear view mirror. . After doing so,being the only driver, the mirrors stayed the same. . . After some time I read in my manual that I could fold my side mirrors in and so I tried to do so . My driver outside mirror would not fold. It only made a clicking sound. . I then tried my right side mirror and it worked but as I tried to adjust my right side mirror it stopped adjusting the position of the mirror view. I have adjusted the view angle just a few times and this is the first time I've tried to fold the mirrors in. I'm truly disappointed in the plastic hardware on such a nice vehicle. .
